Es war einfach fantastisch, den atemberaubenden Sonnenaufgang direkt vom Bett aus zu genießen! Die Lage ist wunderschön ruhig – genau der richtige Ort, um abzuschalten und ganz in die Natur einzutauchen. Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben, so wohl haben wir uns gefühlt. Lisa hat uns herzlich empfangen, war sehr sympathisch, und man spürt sofort ihre Liebe zum Detail. Die Unterkunft war blitzsauber, bestens ausgestattet, und das Bett unglaublich bequem. Eine klare Empfehlung – wir kommen gerne wieder!

This was our second stay and we absolutely love this place. The location is spectacular and so quiet. House is great for the family and lots for the kids to do. Amanda communicates really well and the house has everything you need. This place is good for the soul ❤️

Norie was the most lovely host we had ever met in all of our air bnb stays. She was very kind and made our stay really special. Her place is so unique, cosy, comfortable, homely, peaceful with the most stunning views. We stayed for just one night during our epic 70km cycle on the BVRT. It was the best place to rest our tired legs. Our daughter had the best time feeding the farm animals and picking fruit. After a wonderful sleep in - enjoying the comfy beds and the cosy atmosphere of the cabin, there was fresh bread, farm eggs, cereals & jams for breakfast. Everything was considered for a wonderful stay. What was meant to be a quick overnight stop , turned out to be the most memorable part of the trip. This was our second stay at Anne and Russell’s place, and it was just as special as the first. We got engaged here on our first visit, and returned after our wedding for a peaceful mini-moon (our honeymoon will be later in the year). The space holds a lot of meaning for us, and it didn’t disappoint. We loved being able to wander the property, feed the horses and cows again, and soak in the quiet. The two border collies, Ted and Missy, were always nearby—eager to join us on our walks but respectful of our space when we wanted it. They really added to the warmth of the stay. Anne and Russell were once again incredibly welcoming and generous with their time, happy to chat and offer local recommendations. They’d recently finished some renovations and were excited to show us the updates, which we really appreciated. We’re so glad we returned—and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

An experience we will remember and talk about for a long time. Can not fault anything at all. We loved our two night stay at Carreg Cottage. The ducks, goats, sheep and Maddy the horse all made it so perfect! Kelley checked in via message at just the right times to ensure we had all we needed. The bed was like heaven and the cottage had a beautiful relaxing ambiance. We will definitely be back and have already recommended it to many of our friends. Loved the fires, inside and out! It was an amazing stay! The entire property is beautiful and so much space around you. Close enough to town and very close to the lake. The hosts were very generous with check in and check out times and made the whole experience easy. We all had such a wonderful time staying here. Will definitely be coming back!
