The place is located in, lets say, a village 25kms from somwarpet which is the closest town. So if you are looking for a luxurious stay, this may not be it. Bt the location is amazing, surrounded my mountains. The homestay was very comfortable. Extremely neat and clean. The host / caretaker, was extremely helpful. Always available for any queries or help. They served us with very homely / delicious food.

My stay at "The Nest," hosted by Shobha, was absolutely delightful. The house was impeccably clean and well-equipped with all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. The lovely garden and peaceful surroundings added to the charm, creating a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. The house was clean and well maintained. Kitchen was also well equipped. The Host Nithesh was just a text away and our check in and check out was also flexible. Overall the experience was very nice and the place was worth the price.

Mrs. Gayathry's house was a superb place to base our travels in and around Kasaragod. Easily accessible, unmatched hospitality (the breakfast of puttu, kadala and pappadom were out of this world), and all the required amenities provided at a very reasonable price. We and our pet cat absolutely loved our stay.

Absolutely loved this pristine stay between the forest. The manager, Naveen, was extremely helpful since the very beginning of our trip and till the very end. The place is really nice little difficult to reach Ambur it’s worth the driving. Clear communication and help from the host makes the stay as breeze.

I would like to commend Jagan on maintaining such a wonderful property. I had the best two days while I was there. The food was amazing. Must go place for al you solo travel enthusiasts.

This place was a hidden gem. Location was absolutely perfect. It was across the beach which was clean unexplored and just a wide stretch of white sand ! The house was also sufficient, perfect for a large group. The pool was a good size, and added to the house. Ashok got us our supplies and made great homemade food. Also the restaurant Kaai at Nilaya stays had some great food. Only regret is we got to know about surfing lessons the night before we left ! So if you stay here please check at the reception at Nilaya stays and they will hook you up. We were on a week long road trip from Bangalore with 5 adults and 4 kids and everyone loved this place and location the best !

One of the highlights was the breathtaking view from the window, where I could enjoy my morning coffee while listening to the sounds of nature. The room itself was cozy, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated, creating a warm and homely atmosphere. Overall, it was a peaceful and rejuvenating experience. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway, I’d highly recommend this cottage stay!

The place is very clean and well maintained. Everyone in the family from 21 year old to 85 year old liked the place.

The property is located at the heart of the city and Vernon and family was very welcoming. The house is extremely spacious and well equipped. Everybody including our pet enjoyed staying there. Highly recommended if you are visiting Mangalore with your pet.

We had a great time here. The bunglow is well maintained with 4 bedrooms with attached bathroom, one huge living room with a dining table, big spacious kitchen a backyard and front garden with Gazebo. In the morning you can also go on walk down the trail in estate. Kitchen as many utensils to cook and serve. basic provisions of sugar, cleaning, handwash,etc is provided. Kitchen has a 8 seater dining table and common bathroom. It has Fridge , gas stove and cleaning area. It overlooks the backyard. Please note - 1)that the fourth bedroom is in the center area, so privacy might be compromised and it has a common bathroom in the kitchen. 2) TV was not working. But we did not want to watch the TV with the nature so beautiful. 3) There is no wifi. However Airtel signals are good here. Vodafone phones did not get any signals. We did hotspot from Airtel phone. 4) Incase you are travelling in rainy season please carry sport shoes and don't roam around in slippers in the outside area as its green and slippery. 5) Breakfast was really good. They sent to the bunglow . Even if you want lunch and dinner , they can provide. We had cooked our meals in the bunglow. 6) The staff was very kind and helpful. House was clean and neat. 7) Blankets are provided. 8) Bunglow is down the coffee trail in the valley. 9) As its very natural there might be snails and small insects. There were no mosquitos or cockroaches. It was very clean. You might want to carry an all insect killer spray safe side. We had carried our mosquito nets and insect spray safe side. 10) Best thing it has power backup. 11) So that we don't get bored. We had taken indoor outdoor games. Enough space inside and out for playing games. We had pre-downloaded movies to watch anticipating no wifi. Good time. Lovely house. Super prompt staff.

The place ans stay was very nice. Mr Ravi was friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great time . Would definitely recommend and like to visit again

What you see is what you get All amenities you can think of are available Just across the beach - least walking distance Kitchen utensils can be upgraded but having utensils / kitchen available itself is a blessing while you are out with elders and kids This was a 5/5 stay, no complaints

So the stay was very homely, the food was awesome, whatever was asked to cook, was cooked by the cook. it's kind of home away from home, cleanliness is 10 on 10, Satish was very helpful. he was constantly checking if we reached safely and if we faced any issue during the stay. I wish I could share some pics, but I don't have much. this please is strongly recommended.
