Better than advertised! Couldn’t have chosen a better place for a quick relaxing spiritual getaway. Very private and amazing place. From the reclining chairs near the creek, to the decor inside the property. All the details were present and significant. 100000/10. Recommend to anyone looking for a private and relaxing getaway. This place was wonderful! The views were absolutely spectacular in every way. The home had everything you could ask for. The icing on the cake was Vernon brought us home baked goodies on Christmas Day, which were delicious. The hospitality was amazing. If you want to be surrounded in what Colorado has to offer, book this as your next vacation spot. This place is within driving distance of Breckenridge, Canon City, and Colorado Springs. We couldn’t be happier with our stay or our host. Thank you for the great trip!

The home was beautiful and perfect for our stay. it was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The bathroom was well stocked with towels, soap and shampoo. Firewood was provided for the woodburning stove, which we really enjoyed.

The earthship was quiet, warm, and peaceful, even on a very windy day! The wood stove and gas fireplace were easy to use and cozy. The record player and old records were fun and novel. The kitchen and bathroom had everything you could need. And, of course, Crestone is beautiful. Sean and Thomas were always responsive and kind in their messages, and we briefly got to chat with Thomas, which was lovely.

Staying at the Hobbitat was such a a treat! Jeff and Ruth are fantastic hosts and have created something so special. We felt so lucky to have experienced it for a few days. We especially enjoyed finding the hidden treasures in the architecture, sitting out on the balconies enjoying the mountain views, star gazing, and bird watching, and the quick trips to explore downtown Crestone. This was one of our more unique stays and we would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at staying at Liz's home! The house is beautiful with all of the essentials that one would need in a relatively remote location. We hope to visit Crestone again, and would definitely stay at her home again.

Beautiful home, looked just like the photos. The bed was comfortable. It was very quiet and peaceful, which was exactly what we were looking for. It was just a few minutes from downtown Crestone, which was also nice. After we checked out, Michelle contacted us and asked us for $20 to pay for firewood, which I thought should be included. We paid without complaint and moved on as we did have a wonderful stay. The home was very clean and tidy and well stocked with pots and pans, plates, silverware, etc. The house has everything you need to have a wonderful vacation.

Ruth was a wonderful host! Great communication, accommodations were lovely and as described. Very peaceful, with wonderful surroundings. Lots of extras and a very welcoming space. Will be back, the next time we are in Crestone. Thanks Ruth!!

Great value for plenty of space. The views are amazing. We enjoyed our holiday and spent time doing puzzles, going for walks, reading and cooking. The kitchen is very well stocked. It's an incredibly peaceful location with tons of stars at night.

It was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we were looking for! We took our two dogs and hiked Humboldt on Friday morning… what a beautiful summit. Cabin was super original and the property was quiet. Will be back

The cabin Shawn provided was a wonderful stay. It was clean, and felt like home. It had all the needed supplies in the kitchen to do some serious cooking, and a lively dining area to enjoy meals. WiFi is provided and of good quality. With natural woods and glorious nature all around- this place is a true authentic cabin. Shawn was a great host. While I was utilizing his cabin on Easter weekend it had snowed about 14” inches and I was worried my in-laws wouldn’t be able to make the trek to the cabin. He was ready to personally deliver a key to give me access to the garage and use of the shovels within. Thankfully, my truck got around great and he didn’t need to make the trek on my behalf, but his willingness to do so sent a very positive message. I would stay here again in a heartbeat (and already plan to)

Lisa & David were so welcoming and friendly in letting us rent their guest suite! They have a beautiful little casita on gorgeous land walking distance from a little stream that runs parallel. Everything inside was very clean and we had everything we needed. The town is cute and only about a 5 minute drive with wonderful local food options. We will definitely be back!

Nicely decorated apartment right in the center of town. On the ground floor however there are a few steps up to the door. The kitchen was very pretty and we appreciated having two bathrooms and two bedrooms for a party of three. The owners were easy to contact and quickly responded to our questions before our stay.

This house was a quiet and peaceful place to stay for a week. The kitchen was so easy to cook in, the views from the living room and office/second bedroom were gorgeous, the house was sparely decorated and very peaceful. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood, and within walking distance of a wonderful mountain trail. We enjoyed our restorative stay very much. The house was very cozy and warm for our stay in late December.

My family (me, my husband, mom, and brother) loved staying here. The space is very relaxing- plenty of recline seating in the living room, comfortable beds in all three rooms, and the hot tub is a great place to stargaze. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen for cooking several meals in. Our dogs loved the backyard and the view is incredible from the front yard. Location felt secluded but only a 3 minute drive or 20 minute stroll to town. Charley was a wonderful, friendly, and welcoming host.

We had an amazing stay. Beautiful and peaceful - the pictures do not do it justice. Jonalyn was very attentive and responsive. The house definitely feels like a home. As a plant lover , I was impressed by the variety of her thriving plants. Bed was very comfortable with high quality linens. Well stocked kitchen. Very dog friendly with two fenced in yards and a doggie door. We would definitely book again.

This is a 5 star airbnb. Dan's place was immaculate, perfectly designed and decorated and had all amenities I could think of wanting at an airbnb. We felt relaxed and comfortable for our stay and especially loved all the unique touches on the property like the mini a-frame, UFO playhouse, the curated books and games and the comfort of the bedrooms. We will definitely be back!

The home was wonderful! Great layout and beautiful outside and inside! Being dog friendly was definitely a big bonus. Very Clean, comfortable beds, cozy blankets, and would definitely stay here again!

I can’t say enough great things about the Hobbit Home. Meredith was proactively helpful and attentive. We rented both the blue and purple home because we wanted additional room and privacy for my parents. Our kids were obsessed with all the unique features not to mention the hot tub. We loved our stay here and would 100% recommend, worth every penny.
