We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for a few days in Harrisburg. The apartment is lovely--it's spacious, well decorated, clean, and has everything you need. The location is great too as it's close to the river, in a quiet neighborhood, and a short walk from one of the best coffee shops in town. My partner and I kept telling each other how glad we were to have picked this AirBnB. Ellie is a wonderful host!

The property itself was great, but the surrounding neighborhood wasn’t quite what I expected. Online there seemed to be a lot to do nearby, but because some of the local spots felt a bit run-down, it was very difficult finding a nice place to eat and grab some drinks. A few places allowed indoor smoking, which wasn’t ideal, and overall the area could have been a bit cleaner. This might work better for someone who’s just looking for a quick place to stay rather than to explore or spend time in the neighborhood. It was great for us because we were just looking for a place to sleep and eat since we were spending the second day at hershey park, but the first night we had a difficult time finding a nice spot. Bacco pizzeria ended up being the best spot we found. Pretty good Italian food and drinks there.

Our family of 5 was up for a quick weekend for a wedding and Nathaniel’s place fit our needs perfectly! The building is beautifully renovated and in such a great area in Harrisburg (I didn’t know this existed). This is a first floor apartment which was perfect for our young children who love to run all over and we do not need to worry about their noise for neighbors below. The host had amazing communication and gave great suggestions for local food and entertainment. We will not hesitate to stay here again when visiting family in this area. Thanks for the hospitality!

We had an amazing day at Tracy’s sweet place. It was so quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable! It was super easy to start the day and get going as we were so well rested. Tracy was so kind! We flew from California to see our granddaughter and great granddaughters. They were really curious about where we were staying so they stopped by to see our place and Tracy had a bag of toys for them. The little girls were so excited! It was like Christmas in May for them! Who does that? Tracy does! She also suggested that we take a little walk in the park along the river and it was so much fun! We saw frogs and a boy and his daddy catching fish and had fun talking to a guy on a big mower. It was just the best afternoon and the thing that forever memories are made from! 💜 thank you, Tracy for helping us to have such an amazing trip! We will definitely stay again next time we come to visit our family there.

Happy to say that my stay was excellent. The owners were responsive and kind to any questions or requests. Everything listed and pictured was as advertised. Located close the Appalachian trial, the place is surrounded by forest that makes for a peaceful setting. Overall great value for everything you get.

Our stay was truly 5 stars!The history of the home, the attention to detail of the decor, the thoughtful goodies, and the fabulous yard made it one of our favorite stays. The timing of our trip in late April was perfect for us weather wise and the Pink Dogwood and Cherry Tree were in full bloom. The location is excellent for easy access but yet has a nice private backyard. Can’t say enough about our wonderful experience.

we received email directions with photos, and they were perfect. the road to the house is a little private dirt road. when you reach the house, it's set back just beautiful. the kitchen had everything you would need. house was very clean and organized furniture and beds were comfortable. the porch even had a doggy door. would definitely return.

The house is a walkable distance to the shops and restaurants downtown and to Dickinson College. The house was clean, Anna was helpful, and the backyard was perfect for our dog.

We had a really great time on this secluded, luxurious property. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals for 11 adults. The sleeping accomodations were very comfortable. Their outdoor spaces were neat with spaces to relax and have fun. I would highly recommend this property for a family or group that likes to relax and can make their own fun.

We loved staying here with our dog. The neighborhood is nice — quiet and easily walkable to coffee shops, restaurants the river trail and more. The home itself was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Would absolutely stay again.

This is a great house! it's located right across the street from the river and right down the road from some great restaurants and bars. you can walk to dinner and if you are ambitious, walk to city island for a baseball game. we walked across the bridge to downtown Harrisburg and did a tour of the capital building and a couple churches. you should do this if you have time. Book the tour early, they book up fast. Harrisburg is a charming city and has lots to do. we hit a crossfit class 10 minutes away at 717 crossfit if thats something you like to do. great class! the house is comfortable and has everything you will need for a visit. the bed we slept in was so comfortable! and we had a great view of the river from the picture window in our room. the house is old and has some creaky floors, doors that don't fit like they once did and there isnt a level spot in the house, this made it perfect! it's such a great house and has so much history. we will be back.
