The Starlite

The Starlite at Ruakh is a private luxury geodesic dome tucked along the edge of the woods on our 87-acre farm in Tazewell County, Virginia. Designed for quiet getaways, slow mornings, clear night skies, and time by the fire, this 500-square-foot dome blends the comfort of a thoughtfully finished stay with the feeling of being close to the land. Inside, you will find a king bed, modern comfort, a private bathroom, heating and air, and the kind of details that make the stay feel intentional.

Featuring one queen size bed, a full sized futon, a full size couch & a fold out twin size bed in the living room, a washer & dryer, all kitchen appliances, and a fully stocked kitchen with everything you’ll need to stay in and cook. Enjoy High Rocks and Wilmore Dam, or perhaps a day at Berwind Lake trout fishing, or hiking. Easy access to restaurants, gas, and grocery store. We are an ATV friendly town and house is located in a friendly Quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking.

Warrior Trail Lodging, LLC The Caretta Cottage

Located approximately 6 minutes to War, WV and HMT trailhead. A Short, nice ride to the Wilmore Dam, and to High Rocks. NEW ADDITIONAL PARKING FOR LARGE TRAILERS across the street from the Cottage. In addition to approximately 50 ft. in front, 40 ft. in back, 30 ft. on the side of the cottage. SEE PARKING PHOTOS. We are on Rt 16, part of the ”Head of the Dragon” Motorcycle Riding Route in Caretta, WV. You will have easy on/off access to “Warrior Trail” from Caretta or War.

You can purchase beef, pork, and chicken to cook while you’re here or bring a cooler and take some home.
