Wow what an incredible house! Easily the nicest and largest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. We spent Easter weekend here as a little holiday retreat for our kids and they had a blast! The house is huge but the property itself is massive!! Beautiful clean home, I will definitely book again!

We had a wonderful time swimming, fishing off the dock (caught a nice sized large mouth bass & panfish) and boating. We enjoyed the paddle board, kayak and screened in porch. We used the fire pit one night before the mosquitoes came out. We didn’t use the hot tub. We rented a pontoon from Brett at Island View Resort. He also sold bait, gas and a map of the lake with tips for fishing the lake. We caught crappies, bass, panfish and northern. The bunkhouse was prefect for our two boys. Our daughter enjoyed the loft room. It was nice that there were 2 fans. The kitchen was well equipped and we liked having a large electric skillet. Didn’t use the washing machine except for washing the towels before we checked out. The beds were comfortable. We also liked the large dining room table -used it to play games in the evening. We’d definitely recommend getting peanut butter twists from Pattens restaurant in Orr. It was a very relaxing vacation. We’d definitely rent it again.

Beautiful space, everything was clean and worked great. Hot tub and sauna are great amenities. Very private. Aaron was responsive and is a great host!

The Citadel is a beautiful place and the cabin was really cozy. Grahame was super friendly, responsive, and accommodating. We really enjoyed canoeing on the lake and having bonfires in the evening. The sauna is a really nice amenity. The website for booking watercraft, the sauna, and firewood was really easy to use and a nice touch.

This Airbnb was a perfect place for a larger group due to the spacious and well planned space. Everything was high quality and felt built to last, which seems rarer and rarer nowadays. We used the pool/hot tub and pickleball facilities. Pool+hot tub were a nice size and there was plenty of seating. We enjoyed the pickleball but the paddles did seem aged. It would be nice for the resort group to implement self check in for the ease of the guests but Crystal at the front desk was a friendly face.

We would stay again in a heartbeat! The spotless rooms seemed larger than the photos. The beds, furniture and deck are comfortable. We were 4 adults and two preschoolers and it worked for everyone. Although there are many cabins on the lake, it was very quiet during our visit. Swimming and water play were the main focus for us, but we did catch a few fish, too! The dock is large and perfect, and the lake clean. We launched our boat across the lake and docked it. So much was provided in the way of toys! Allison was a wonderful host and offered tons of details, tips and was immediately responsive to questions. Because we were there later in August, some of the advertised children’s events in town had ended for the season, but with so much to do at the cabin, we didn’t miss it. We preferred sitting amongst the tall pines, having a fire, and watching the full moon over the lake while listening to the loons! Little touches, such as homemade fire starters made life easy! The property is as in the photos, very spacious in the inside. Right on the water, only a minute or two from downtown Ely, but worlds away from the City. Nice setting, plenty of room for all in your group. Multiple levels, built to enjoy being on the lake, so many nice touches, and the kitchen is well stocked, with plenty of glasses/plates and everything required to feel at home. Plenty of towels! Hot tub is in a private setting! Second floor is reached by open stairway, includes an open area overlooking first floor, that includes conversation area with futon, and large bedroom with great view of sunrise and attached bathroom with shower and large jetted tub. We were just two, and felt comfortably together, larger groups will not feel crowded, and two cars can park in the garage, and they provide two remote garage door openers, so you do not have to get out of your car to open or close the garage door. Truly is like having your own place in the woods, if you were a millionaire!

We had a great time in Ely! This cabin was the perfect fall weekend getaway. Can’t wait to come back :)

We loved staying at Samantha's property. Communication was great, the cabin was clean and super cozy and had everything that we needed. This is a little gem up north and we would love to stay here again. The lake is beautiful and the rental comes with kayaks and other water toys. We kayaked to the local restaurant which was easy to get to and a very pretty, short paddle away. We loved sitting by the fire and they had ample firewood provided. Can't say enough about the experience!

Beautiful property right on the lake run by a lovely, friendly couple and their pup, Jack, who kept my dog company! The cabin is exactly as it looks in the photos, and is a perfect escape if you just need some time away. Cliff was onsite for most of the time I was there and was so friendly, asked me if I needed anything when he left for town and brought out a canoe for me to explore the inlet. This is a small community where loyal visitors have been coming for years, so it felt safe and friendly. The cabin was exactly as pictured and had everything we needed—and an awesome deal for the location and company—but like others have said, it’s not a fancy resort :) it’s a family-owned old log cabin. Enjoy it!

We were very pleased with our stay. The cabin is adorable with plenty of space around it. After reading a few reviews about the train tracks being so close I was a little concerned about safety and noise. Once we arrived I noticed that safety was not an issue as a river (stream) is located between the property and the tracks. The train runs through frequently but it didn't have a negative impact on our stay and we live in the country with no trains. Randy was very pleasant to work with and I can't say enough good things about our stay. it was a perfect fit!

Our family enjoyed a relaxing getaway and spent time snowshoeing around the property on the trails. Peaceful and quiet space.

Luke's place was more than what we had expected. My family had a great time and felt very comfortable during our stay. The place was equipped with all the things one would need. We were very grateful for the baby gates that allowed my nephew to safely roam from one side of the house to another. The views of the lake from all places from the house were just beautiful. I would definitely come back for another family trip.

We stayed at John's place in the winter, and it exceeded our expectations. The place was clean and well-stocked. Running the log stove and sauna were a must, as they were the only way to stay warm. We saw a wolf and many other wildlife during our stay. Snowshoeing on the nearby lakes were a highlight. The trails marked by Dave were easy to follow, along with the maps they provided. If you are looking for a peaceful trip surrounded by nature, you found the right place! Thanks to John and Dave for being so helpful and responsive.

This was my second stay here. Check-in was a breeze, the cabin was well stocked and clean. Pretty much everything you would need was supplied as far as cooking and eating needs were concerned. We had a very comfortable stay. The host communicated very well and promptly. 5 stars all away around

I have a lot of favorite places... this place though... has moved to the top of my list. highly recommend!

We only stayed one night but the place was very clean and exceeded expectations. We got a great night’s rest and would love to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at The Hideaway! We drove up from Mississippi for a white Christmas and spent most of our time ice skating on the lake, reading, and playing board games. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing family vacation: books, games, puzzles, the lake, even extra dog bags for clean up. My oldest went ice fishing a few times. As an amateur baker, I loved that the kitchen had things like bread pans, a pastry blender, a dough scraper, etc. It made the Christmas and New Year’s baking of delicious breads and desserts much easier. Highly recommend and considering another stay this summer!

This was a great little cabin for our kid free weekend away! They had everything in the kitchen you could need to cook meals. It’s tucked into the woods so it’s private and it’s just what we were looking for. It was clean and we had a great experience! Derek was quick and responsive when an issue came up.

The place was beautiful as described. It was just the right amount of space for 8 adults. The location was secluded and quiet with lots of room for parking. Will definitely book again if we are back in the area.

It was a very well laid out two bedroom cabin. They provided ample towels, blankets, pillows and everything felt clean and comfortable. Their swing next to the lake was our favorite to watch the sun go down and have coffee in the morning. There is a nice fire ring with plenty of kindling and firewood provided! (So nice). The sauna worked well and was easy to use and warms up really fast. It was a wonderful stay, peaceful, quiet, and it felt private. We will be back for sure!!
