J&F placed a big emphasis on outdoor entertaining with a massive covered deck, the picnic table patio, & access to a cedar barrel sauna! Whether coming from close or far, you deserve it!

Cowichan Bay Hideaway Character Home

Relax and enjoy our character home with a private deck that overlooks Cowichan Bay and Mount Tzouhalem. Lounge on the patio while watching boats in the bay and herons and eagles overhead. The quaint village of Cowichan Bay is a short walk down the hill, offering artisan shops, fresh baked goods and a variety of excellent restaurants. Hiking, biking, water activities, golf, vineyards and local farms are all at your doorstep. Cowichan Bay is part of the South Island Rotary Bike Route!

This 3600 sq. ft. contemporary home is perfect for families or couples wanting an authentic west coast experience. Beautifully decorated 4 bedroom, 3 bath home (sleeps 10) with lots of indoor and outdoor spaces to accommodate the fussiest of travelers. Small weddings and events are welcome subject to approval and an additional event fee.

Sit by the fire listening to the majestic creek flowing nearby, or cuddle on our couch with your love ones by the fireplace. A true west coast experience.

Large deck, Solarium, Hot-tub, Kayaks and stunning views (Brandon Islands, Newcastle Island Provincial Park, Birds, Seals, Otters, Boats, Fisheries Canada docks). Swim, Paddle board, Kayak, Beach comb, Picnic or just relax - beside the salt water and a patch of old forest. Nanaimo is centrally located, permitting day trips to Vancover, Victoria and even Tofino. Luke (myself) reside in the suite.
