La cabaña

Encantadora cabaña de troncos en una excelente ubicación del condado de Floyd para solo 2 huéspedes. Amplia sala de estar con chimenea de gas. Dormitorio separado con cama tamaño queen, cocina bien equipada y baño individual con ducha. Situado a unos 22 minutos de la I-81, a 35 minutos de Virginia Tech, a 22 minutos de Floyd Country Store y a unos 40 minutos de Roanoke. No se permite fumar ni vapear en la propiedad. Nuestra casa está al lado/visible desde la cabaña. Estamos disponibles si necesitas algo, pero respetamos tu tiempo y te daremos tu privacidad.

Cabaña Black Water Junction

Nuestra cabaña está construida con madera vieja y puertas encontradas en la granja. Debido a que soy una persona de naturaleza tan fría, instalé pisos con calefacción y una barra de toallas con calefacción, además de la mini-split y la chimenea eléctrica. La cabaña está rodeada de pastos que son el hogar de nuestras vacas, caballos, cabras, cerdos y pollos. Lo más destacado de una estancia en BWJ Cabin sería sentarse en el porche delantero en una mecedora, columpio de cama de día o jacuzzi con vistas al paisaje y no hacer nada.

We are next to a >1400 acre nature preserve with 5 miles of trails. Appalachian Trail (McAfee Knob), Blue Ridge Highway, Smith Mountain Lake, James River, wineries, breweries, shopping are close by. 18 min to Roanoke College and 40 minutes to Virginia Tech. The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Falling Pines Historic Cabin

The original log cabin was built in 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). These cabins were built after the Blue Ridge Parkway was laid in 1935, which is just down the street. With love and attention our cabin's renovations were complete in 2017. We kept the original log walls to add a rustic feel to the contemporary, crisp clean decor. The cottage overlooks the babbling waters of Back Creek but is just a 5 minute drive to the grocery store, private yet convenient.

Great location just 1/2 mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway at MP 152. Surrounded by open fields, mountain vistas abound. This home has been lived in and gently loved for many years. There is one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. An extra cot is available. Fully equipped kitchen! Great for families and a long stay. Guests are invited to join us when feeding the farm animals (alpacas, llamas, Highland cattle, Jacob sheep and angora goats) each morning. Fun!
