The Log Homestead is tucked away in the woods, situated on 80 acres of land. From the back of the deck you can look out and enjoy abundant wildlife while grilling dinner The home is furnished with cozy living room as well as a full kitchen and dining area that is sure to please. Master bedroom in on the second floor with a queen bed and private bathroom. The loft area has a queen airbed . The main level has a full size bathroom with second bedroom with a full size bed. We love to say it is centrally located - to wilderness hiking in Moosehorn NWR, to Cobscook Bay, to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, to the beautiful friendly Down East towns of Machias, Eastport and Calais. The cabin itself is built of local pine and cedar, and sits on the lakefront among towering pine and spruce trees.
