We had an amazing stay at Sally’s place in Bethel! My fiancé and I visited CT for the first time to celebrate my birthday and go to a convention nearby. This cottage was perfect for the two of us. The host was very responsive and accommodating as well! The cottage was in pristine condition, the house manual was very easy to follow, the recommendations were great, the scenery was out of a movie, and my favorite part was the hot tub in our restroom which was perfect after a long day! We had a great time and would love to come back again! Thanks for your hospitality Sally! ☺️

This wonderful antique home is in a Beautiful spot in the heart of Litchfield CT, and a delight early spring when the fields of daffodils awake! This unique 1793 house has a great view & sunset, fireplace, simple spa/gym making it a gem even when the pool is closed. Nearby the town with lots to offer and local farms for food shopping too. What’s not to love 💛 Bonus is a great host offering a home that is in touch with the realities of rentals, pets and people -not picky, precious or punitive. Happy to recommend and return! This was our second stay at this beautiful restored barn and we had another great long Easter weekend with our family. So peaceful, private and relaxing. Quality linens and beautiful artwork from the owner's family made our stay enjoyable. Thank you for sharing your family's treasure with us!

The house was very peaceful and quiet. Caryn owns three alpacas and a sheep and they were adorable and fun to watch. The house was very rustic and comfortable and very well equipped. Caryn was an amazing host. She was at the house to greet us when we arrived and was very accommodating with any questions that we had. She couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect.

Very charming home, exactly as shown. We shared the home with another family for a ski weekend at mohawk (15 minute drive).. The home is so family friendly, has lots of games and even a crib/booster for the kitchen. The two living rooms with TVs are great (one for the kids and one for the adults!) Clean and well stocked in the kitchen. Paul is super responsive and was very flexible on check-in /check-out times. Highly recommend!

I went for my boyfriends 25th birthday it was absolutely stunning from all of the art everywhere in the house and outside! We stayed in the sauna from when we got there till late at night it was an absolutely wonderful experience even just for a night!

This was our first time at the Barn. There were 8 of us. We had plenty of room. Plenty of parking. MaryBeth and Doug are extremely friendly. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the Barn. Will definitely book there again next year.

Very nice place, with beautiful surroundings. Was quite fun to awaken to sheep baaaing (though this may also be something you might not like as well) outside your window. For us, we loved it. Very quaint farmhouse, very cute. Steps to enter are quite steep though, so if there are any stability issues for your party, be mindful that getting in/out of the actual rental could be very challenging (top step in particular was probably 12" to the eye test). Beds very comfortable. Toilet is a 'compostable' toilet, so a bit different than most are used to with no flushing, but works fine and had no issues. Recommend this to anyone who loves the countryside and enjoys the rural charm of CT!

We loved staying at "The Barn". It was in a really great location; close to everything but private. The space had everything we needed; comfortable bed, a table and chairs, couch, tv, kitchen and full bath. Sarah did a great job decorating the space. It was also very clean. We will definitely stay here again, it is a great spot.

We had such a lovely time in the silo. The bed was super comfy, the view beautiful, and the lodging so unique. Super close to some nice hiking spots. Robert had some really great recommendations! We were joined by many lucky ladybugs. This might not be the place for you if you have a fear of spiders but we appreciated the company and just being in nature with all the amenities of home.

The place is beautiful and felt like home as soon as we walked in. It’s a gorgeous old home, updated where it’s needed (central heat/AC, high efficiency hot water tank, etc.), big bedrooms, but still has an old farmhouse feel, tastefully decorated but not fussy. Really comfortable and we’ll set up for two families with a feeling of privacy for each. Beautiful surroundings abutting a farm (who gave us fresh cut flowers) and with a perfect pool and spa. We stayed for a summer month, wish it could have been longer, and we would happily do it again. Thomas was very gracious and responsive throughout. Great place.

Staying at Steve’s Airbnb was nothing short of fantastic. He is a wonderful host with a beautiful property! I would stay here every time I’m in town! All instructions very clear, the Airbnb is stocked with everything you need! 10/10

Absolutely beautiful and cozy! A very charming and well decorated restored barn. I loved every inch of the place. The antiques and fireplace made me feel like I stepped back in time. I would love to stay again! Peggy was wonderful with communication and the bowl of chocolates on the table was a sweet touch. 10/10 will recommend to everyone! Thanks so much Peggy!

Leslie and her husband were the best hosts one could ask for. I was in town on a work trip and they were very flexible and accommodating to my schedule which made my days in the area much more enjoyable. They were gracious, giving and kind hosts and would 10000% recommend them. I will definitely be back in the future to stay longer!

Cannot say enough about this place. My girlfriend and I stayed here for an extended weekend getaway and the running joke at the end of the trip was that I've peaked, I will never beat this. This stunning home has an understated exterior that hides the gorgeous timber-frame architecture inside. The floating bedrooms are incredible looking, the symmetry of the design pleases to no end, and then you venture out and look at the property. We went on an hour long hike and never left the property, and the caretaking of the land is amazing. Highly highly recommended.

My family had a great long weekend at Michael’s house. The house had such a cool vibe with a great yard. Perfect for our kids and dog who loved playing in the snow. I would imagine the pool would be amazing in the warmer months. Michael was very responsive and even coordinated the driveway to be plowed after a big snow storm. Lots of good local restaurant's but it was also nice to stay in and cook in the kitchen. About 25 minutes to Mohawk mtn if you’re looking to ski. Would definitely recommend!!

What a beautiful spot! Off of a rural road in CT, barn is set back behind the house, very private, cozy, and spacious. Bathroom is newly renovated. The whole area feels warm and authentic - you look out onto farmland, beautiful trees. Hosts were very kind and responsive to my messages. Highly recommend.
