Liz & Dean made it very easy to enjoy our time there. They were communicative & welcoming, & we still had lots of privacy. Surprisingly one of our fave days was the day spent home in the rain, the cottage was so cozy. The rest of the days were spent in the sunshine, wandering the island & at the beach. The internet was not reliable, so I should have made sure we downloaded shows/podcasts ahead of time but we had lots of books luckily. This is a great spot as a home base to explore Hornby & we are grateful they shared their property with us.

This beautiful bachelor suite was clean, bright, and homey feeling. Located in a quiet neighbourhood and only a short walk down the road to the ocean, this place was a wonderful place to come to enjoy peace and quiet

This is a little Oasis. We loved touring the gardens and saying hellos to the ducks and chickens. It was wonderful having three private rooms for our group. The local recommendations he provided were helpful. Make sure you order some of their baking and preserves while enjoying your stay. We were lucky enough to try their fare at the farmer’s market. Delicious!

We would definitely stay again. It was a great place. Small and cozy. Host went out of his way to ensure we had a good experience.

Norra Hem did not disappoint. Incredible views and a beautiful, peaceful setting. It’s like a Scandinavian minimalist dream. That smells like pine and ocean mist. A great place to relax, escape, and maybe even write a book. A truly unique yet modern property with all the amenities and comforts of home, but nicer.. and cleaner. Hosts were responsive and provided recommendations for things to see and do on the island. Will definitely be coming back!

Terra’s place was well equipped with the things you would need to prepare a meal. She thought of pretty much everything. She was very friendly, responsive and easy to contact. And the suite was nice and clean. There were a few things that we found needed some attention. Unless you prefer a softer bed, you may find the bed a bit too soft. The couch is in need of a deep clean. The door is a patio door and therefore does not lock from the outside. Other than those few things we found the Ugly House, to be a well designed and nicely styled suite. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Terra’s.

Angela's place was PERFECT for what we needed -- spotless, bright, with lots of attention to detail. The bed was so comfortable and all the amenities were great! Angela was a friendly and responsive host who ensured we were well taken care of. Would definitely recommend and return again!

We stayed here for a birthday weekend away and it did not disappoint. Such a beautiful location surrounded by trees. The place was done up so nicely. When we first arrived there was a basket of treats and drinks in the fridge which was such a nice welcome. Sitting in the hot tub looking out at the large cedar trees and the pond, listening to the birds and the frogs was so relaxing. Highly recommend and would stay here again. Thank you for a great weekend.

This was our second time staying here, and it was just as wonderful as the first! The home is spotless, comfortable, and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. One of the biggest perks for us is how dog-friendly it is—our pup felt right at home, and we really appreciate the thoughtful touches that make traveling with a pet so easy. This was our second time staying at Alison's and it was as wonderful as the first time. Alison is a great host and her place is one of the best that we've stayed at in our travels.

My stay for a month exceeded expectations! Cozy and comfortable cottage near the Salish estuary and numerous forest walks nearby. Owner is very responsive, thoughtful, and made my stay all the more enjoyable. Would love to book this cottage again! Thank you Anne and Mike for sharing your cottage in this slice of paradise!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless and extremely well-maintained. The living spaces are spacious, cozy and comfortable. When we had a small issue with the TV remote, Natasha’s husband fixed it promptly. Everything is in perfect condition. It’s clear that they put a lot of care into maintaining the space. One of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in. Thank you!

We loved our 4 day stay at Lisa’s! The apartment is roomy and very tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed, and was super clean. It was nice to sit at the kitchen table and enjoy a view of the ocean! We really enjoyed the easy access to the beach. Lisa checked with us regularly in case we needed. Our only regret was not planning a longer stay!

Great spot for a get away in Cumberland. Private space, well designed and the host was easy to communicate with. We will be back

From the comfortable recliners to the carefully crafted kitchen , it's evident that Dave and Rachel really care about the comfort of their guests. We would definitely recommend this place to even the pickiest if guests.

Lovely location within easy walking distance to seal bay trail system! Lots of indoor/outdoor space, including a fire pit.

A great place to get away from a busy daily agenda. Everything a person needs. Close to a beach so you could either walk to or a quick drive and then sit back and relax. A real plus was the ability to do laundry.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days at Boulder Hill Guest Suite. This space is comfortable and well organized. It met our needs for cooking, laundry, relaxing. We plan to book again.
