We love this property, I take my own children and all of our grandkids, they have room to run. The house is big so we are not on top of each other. I will go back year after year!

Dolly reached out right away to make sure I didn’t have any questions or concerns. Upon arrival, we made ourselves right at home, and it felt like home. The beds were great, the home was clean, and the pictures don’t quite do it justice. To top it off, they provided the necessities to make a fire in the fire pit just outside the house. Our family enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return for another adventure.

My husband and I got married here and decided to stay in the same exact cabin as our wedding night on our 5 year anniversary. We adore Lisa and Doug, they are so friendly and the space is so relaxing and beautiful. All of my friends were jealous that we went back!!

Our stay at Joes was excellent. The place was so neat and clean, everything was as it was described as far as the camper and the surroundings as there’s a creek that sounds so calming, a play area for kids, benches and chairs, grill, fire pit and all that make for a great stay in the peaceful woods. As soon as we got there Joe and Darlene were there to welcome us and show and explain everything to us. Prior to coming I had a few questions and they were answered quickly and very helpful. I would definately recommend it and hope to stay there again soon!!

Beautiful house that was even nicer than the pictures! Super clean and you can tell Matt takes pride in keeping this home in great shape. Definitely something for everyone, as both the adults and teenagers had a fun and relaxing time. The game room was a great bonus for the kids and we all enjoyed the perfect outdoor setting and clean hot tub. We brought our ATV and had a blast on all the trails reachable from right in the back yard! Matt was very responsive and we couldn't have asked for a better rental experience. Highly recommended and we definitely plan to be back!

We had a great stay! My family loved the space and it was a great place to host our get together. Would gladly (and plan to!) return. Peter and Ginny are so accommodating and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

Can’t say enough good things about our stay at the Drowsy Beaver Cabin! Stacy, our host, was so helpful in all of her communications and very responsive. She was so thoughtful that she even left really good gluten-free snacks after asking if any of us has food allergies. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous with really great indoor and outdoor spaces that have stunning views and a warm, comfortable feel. There were thoughtful touches throughout, such as soft throw blankets to snuggle up with in the living room, a stock of wood for the fireplace and fire pit with fire starter, a jar with cotton balls and qtips the bathroom, a stock of k-cups and creamer, maps from the two big state parks nearby, flyers from recommended stores and so much more. We walked in and felt instantly cozy and at home. It was so quiet and peaceful with beautiful views of the lake. We will absolutely be going back for more stays at the Drowsy Beaver. Can’t really ask for much more secluded little spot but still in walking distance of a restaurant and bar.

We really enjoyed staying here despite the snow, freezing rain & wind! We were looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway weekend and that’s exactly what we got! We were able to have a good time with all the games that are there to play! Also the Ricketts Glen Hotel is less than 5 minutes away for some very good food! I highly recommend this listing!
