Nestled amongst gum trees overlooking a large dam, it is surrounded by native wildlife and grazing stock. A unique feature of this location is a walking track through our working farm to The Olive View Restaurant, with great food and amazing coffee. In keeping with minimum impact on the environment, it contains a composting toilet.

Hideaway in Wamboin. 15 minutes to Queanbeyan or Bungendore, close to wineries. Comfortable, private and separate studio unit (donga) with queen bed, a kitchen and a bathroom. Tea's and Coffees available. Stargazing on clear nights, peace and quiet. This is a small space that is not suitable for long term rental. Note: after numerous suggestions as to temperature control, I have now installed reverse cycle air conditioning. Nearest shops are in Queanbeyan (15mins away)

The lake bed is visible during the dry years and the lake will slowly reappear during wet years. The lake is currently the fullest it’s been in many years. Quiet Peaceful Farm Stay on 25 acres, sealed roads, 15 minutes to Goulburn and 50 minutes to Canberra. Dogs under 25kg are welcome to stay at my property by negotiation with Host prior to booking, a fee $30.00 will apply. Enjoy the peace and quiet and wonder around the yard to check out the animals. Short drives to local attractions or simply have a break and enjoy a glass of wine or your favourite beverage on the verandah while enjoying the sunset.
