Peaceful Cabin in the Heart of North Country

Our beautiful cabin sits in Clarksville on 6 private acres, close to major ATV and snowmobile trails, as well as the Hurlburt Nature Conservancy Area. We are minutes from Lake Francis and the Connecticut Lakes in NH's northernmost town, Pittsburg. While by no means primitive, our cabin is simple and rustic, and...in the woods. You may be visited by rabbits and coyote, or even a moose or deer grazing early in the morning. You may have the occasional cobweb, fly, swollen door, or sticky evening.

A comfy cabin set back off the 1st Connecticut Lake with a view; great for making wonderful family memories, a romantic couple's get-away, kids love it, a fun time with friends, fishermen's delight, hunters' heaven; full kitchen with microwave & coffee maker, indoor plumbing & hot water, 14' deck, short walk to shared dock in sheltered cove, access to snowmobile trails & 3 miles to ATV access. Pets with advanced host permission, current rabies, a flat Fido Fee, & limited to 2 pets. 2 nt min.

HILLSIDE Unit - Direct ATV/Snowmobile Access

Welcome to "The Shack"; a new barn featuring three 2-bedroom units each with its own private entrance. Located about 6 miles from downtown Colebrook on 29 acres with a rolling landscape with DIRECT ACCESS to snowmobile (Cor # 5) and ATV trails (Cor # C). The HILLSIDE is a 1st floor unit that has a beautiful and sunny open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen. The unit comfortably sleeps 4 in the 2 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. There is a walk-in shower and laundry in the unit.

Feel free to bring your boat and use the free public launch as well as the boat dock available right in front of the home. Deck includes an outdoor grill, fire pit, boat dock, trash removal

Secluded home with large porch for enjoying your morning cup of coffee surrounded by nature. Our large driveway and basement entrance are perfect for adventurous getaways, with plenty of space to park machines. Direct ATV/snowmobile access right from the driveway! The master bedroom has a queen bed and private bathroom. The other two bedrooms have 2 twin beds each, with their own hallway bathroom. Our large kitchen and open-concept dining/living room make for a great place to gather!

Activities available in the area: ATV, snowmobiling, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, hunting & fishing! We provide a dock, 2 kayaks and 1 canoe shared with our Trailside cabin guests. 1st, 2nd, 3rd CT & Lake Francis are minutes away. Cook, BBQ or try a local restaurant: Rainbow Grill Tavern (Reservations required), 1840, Pitstop Pub, Buckrub Pub or Murphy's Steakhouse.

The boat launch is conveniently located 1/8 of a mile away and the local beach is a short paddle across the lake using the provided canoe and kayaks.
