The Iron City Heritage House is located one block from the Iron Ore Heritage trail, Snowmobile trail, and the Orv trail connecting to trails in the UP. Three blocks from the Michigame basin and river for fishing and swimming. The house is settled in the heart of the Upper Penninsula. 45 min. from Marquette MI, and 45 min. from Iron Mountain, MI. A great location for all things UP and outdoors.

There are so many sites to see within miles of Grandma's House. Though this home was built in the late 1800s, you will immediately feel the warmth and comfort of a modern day living experience.

Enjoy Upper Michigan's beauty in this cozy cabin in the woods. Located on 80 acres this property has over 2 miles of nature trails. Head down to Sawyer Lake just a 1/4 mile down the road. If you love to fish, you're in luck. The Michigamme river is just a few miles away. This one-bedroom cabin has a bunk room and a pull-out couch. One of my favorite features is the wood stove. It really warms you up on a chilly day. A great place to stay for a family get-away or a group of friends.

Its nestled in the woods where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest but is still in close proximity to hiking, biking, cross country ski trails, and Marquette Mountain for downhill skiing and all Marquette has to offer. It is approximately 3 miles from the snowmobile trail and can be accessed using Green Garden Road. A very easy ride to the trail.

This historic (1800's), 3 bedroom, cedar log cabin is nestled within a 2 acre rustic private island on the Michigamme River, just 300 feet from the shoreline. Flexibility is key. You will need to row or take the simple pontoon with a basic electric motor over to your own private island.(Or let us know you need assistance, and we will make sure someone is there when you arrive.)

The property is incredible for dark sky viewing and if you're lucky, you'll be able to experience the Northern Lights.
