We have started a family tradition to spend a couple of days at Michelle's during Easter as we visit our daughter at PSU. Two years in a row so far. Love the house! It is so well appointed and comfortable and has every ammenity you would need to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time in the beautiful PA countryside. Love the location - nothing in between you and the beautiful mountainous scenery. If you're looking for peace, quiet and have a big family, this place can accommodate it all.

Carrie and Dave are very easy to reach and communicate with. We met a flood condition on the road to Carrie’s place and we have to stay at some hotel the first night. They kindly offered refund for the first night. Otherwise everything is perfect and as described. Location is good and the view is so beautiful. There was little signal and Wi-Fi is a little slow though but house is very nice and clean and have with all necessary tools and utensils.

Very clean and easy to find. A great place for a quick stop ever after PSU games. No issues at all with communication or location.

The perfect destination for visiting Lock Haven, Penn State or Bald Eagle State Park. This was one of the coolest places we stay at to date. The craftsmanship of this place is simply wow. The giant garage door really opens up the place and if you want privacy the curtain rolls down. My two favorite features were the shower and the pull out ladder to get up to the loft. Even though it rained and we had to ditch our kayaking plan at Bald Eagle State Park only minutes away, but still managed to get in a few great hikes. We found 3 local wineries and made a trip to Penns Cave. The property is quiet and secluded and the rental was super clean. I would come back.

The house worked well for a family with all different age levels as far as sleeping space. The loft is great for children to have space but still keep an eye on them. Outside space can’t be beat, different areas and plenty of seating. Would definitely stay here again.

This was exactly what we needed. A clean, comfortable welcoming place to lay our heads while we were in town for our son’s graduation. It was only 30 min away from campus. Nadine was always available for questions before we arrived. The camper was stocked with water, coffee, linens, bedding and S’more making items. Nadine had the extra beds made up for our two larger sons so they would be comfortable when we arrived. We spent a lot of time running around state college and it was fantastic to come back to a fire pit each night. The farm atmosphere made it entertaining for the whole family. (Our favorite was June the cat) We look forward to returning for football games in the fall. Thank you Nadine, we had a wonderful time.

Would absolutely stay again! Great retreat, beautiful landscape, and ability to cut off technology. Only about 30 mins to PSU, so very convenient for a game weekend. We really loved our stay!

Bonita's stay is a wonderful accommodation! My husband and I were visiting Penn State for the first round of the CFP; Howard is a peaceful and quaint location, about 30 minutes from downtown State College. The space was immaculately cleaned, and a great size for two people. Kitchen accommodations included a fridge, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, and plug-in stove (perfect for pre-game breakfast!) Bonita provided a book with clear instructions, as well as local suggestions- although most of our time was spent in downtown State College. When we had question about the TV, she quickly responded, even though it was fairly late in the night. We would certainly stay here again!

We happened to be staying at Stefanie’s cabin during the flash flooding from Hurricane Debby. From the moment I alerted Stefanie, she was super responsive and caring. First thing the next morning, Stefanie and her whole family showed up to help - bringing us water and snacks, generator, clearing the roadways, rebuilding driveways, and creating a temporary road for the community to use. They also arranged for us, our dog, and all our stuff to be evacuated and helped us get us to safety where a family member was meeting us. In the wake of the event, Stefanie stayed in touch and has continued to be caring and generous with us. We are grateful for their help and can only say amazing things about Stefanie and her family’s character. As for the cabin, it has rustic charm as advertised but very clean— and it kept us safe and dry during significant flooding! Excellent cell signal and solid Wifi. The yard and view of the creek is super beautiful and close to Pine Creek hiking.

Great accommodations to enjoy a PSU football weekend. The locations was close enough to the stadium for an easy commute. The property was well appointed with everything you need for a weekend away! Yancy was a great host!!
