Exactly as described/pictured. Super easy checkin in and very responsive host who also kindly offered local recommendations that also were great. Winter trip so no jumping in the lake or swimming in pool but still had great time fishing from the property, soaking in hot tub after hiking, roasted s’more’s in fire-pit (bring your own wood) and calming lake views while playing board games/eating. Family is already asking when can we go back….

This place was the most stunning Airbnb we have been to. The Bungalow was very peaceful and the lake views were spectacular. The bedroom was right at the entrance and the bed was very comfortable and the hosts had extra sheets and blankets which we appreciated. The bathroom was stocked with lots of towels and even shampoo, conditioner, etc. The living room area/kitchen was by far the most beautiful of the entire place. The kitchen was stocked with basic things like coffee, sugar, cooking oil,etc. as well as cooking pans, pots, utensils, plates etc. the living room area was very comfortable and hosts even provided their Netflix account which was great for a laid back evening. The back door area had incredible views of the lake including a hot tub which was the perfect touch to our stay. We utilized the kayaks that the hosts provided and they were great quality. We overall enjoyed our stay here and we would definitely come back for future visits. Hosts were very responsive and kind.

The home was exactly as advertised. It was cozy, clean, spacious, and the back deck felt very private with a beautiful view of a tree covered hillside. The neighborhood was more densely populated than I expected, but sitting in the backyard made me feel like there was nobody else for miles. Excellent experience overall and I would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Larry!

The whole family had an amazing time. Kids cried when we left. We will be back!

The house is beautifully decorated, with many thoughtful comforts, though we had to rearrange rugs and chairs to accommodate my husband safely, who uses a walker; for example, the loveseat slides on the floor when it is leaned on unless its legs are on a rug. A chair in the bedroom for getting dressed would be helpful. And the bedroom window air conditioner was in need of a hygienic cleaning, as we could see dirt and/or mold inside, and chose not to turn it on. The A/C in the living room was fine after I wiped the dust out (our visit was at the beginning of May, and perhaps this annual cleaning had not been done yet). The yard and garden are exquisitely landscaped, with pleasant, private outdoor living areas.

The place was great! Easy to find. Inside was very clean and organized. The labels for the lights was fabulous! Rules and instructions were clear and readily posted. The view of the lake was awesome! I would definitely stay here again if I was coming to Clearlake area!

Spring break family gathering. Marks place was absolutely beautiful and accommodating to a large family of 14 people. There was plenty to do for adults and children. The home equipped with everything we needed from pots, pans, grills, games, and we truly appreciated the generous amount of towels. Mark was fast to respond to communication. He was easy to reach even when I had a quick and small question. We will definitely love to book with Mark again.

The description of the listing is accurate and made for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. It’s a clean place to stay with comfortable bed and additional seating. It’s nested behind a locked gate within a beautifully landscaped yard that contains this listing and the primary residence. We wanted a clean and safe place to stay with our dogs to hike while hiking in the area and felt it was exactly what we were looking for. It’s a short distance to town and easy to get into town as long as you’re comfortable on the narrow neighborhood road. Nature is abundant in the area so at night you may hear the critters out and about or perhaps the trees moving in the wind. However you won’t be bothered by any neighborhood or traffic sounds.

We stayed on a work trip and the place felt like home. This place is a must-visit for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities like fishing and hiking. Highly recommended
