This is a fabulous cottage in a beautiful and peaceful location. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped. Exceeded expectations in term of size and is easily suitable for 6 adults. The games room is a bonus to have available and great fun. Johnny is a perfect host and very responsive. Hope to return. Thank you Johnny!

Johnny was a great host! Helpful and responsive whenever we had questions and came to greet us/show us around the first evening. There were plenty of clean linens for bathing and kitchen use, the kitchen was well stocked to make whatever meals you might desire. Plenty of space for our party of 8, and beautiful views of the surrounding hills and countryside. We really enjoyed our stay!

We stayed as it was close to family for a celebration the house exceeded our expectations it was a lovely place we felt right at home the dogs loved the the garden to run around - like a home from home - fabulous stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again when visiting family up north

All facilities were maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and functionality, which greatly enhanced the overall experience. A thoroughly enjoyable and memorable visit. Vielen Dank Marjory, es war uns ein Vergnügen bei dir wohnen zu dürfen! Ein tolles Haus, eine vollendete Ausstattung, der es an nichts fehlte. Es hat uns sehr gefreut, in dieser Art willkommen geheißen zu werden. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse auf die Berge wurde schon beschrieben, und trifft es voll und ganz. Wir haben jeden Tag in deinem Haus genossen. Es ist geräumig, vollständig und mit Liebe eingerichtet, eine Unterkunft in die man ankommt, und nicht wieder abreisen will. Wir werden wiederkommen, wenn es uns nach Schottland verschlägt. Die Lage ist super für Ausflüge nach Glasgow, Perth, Dundee und natürlich Edinburgh. Nochmals vielen Dank!

Perfect place to stay for a few days on a budget. About 10min walk from bus stops that led to the city, took about an hour to get into the city from here. Owners always got back with us quickly and were so kind. I reccommend staying here if you want more of a cozy stay away from the city!

The apartment is really bright and spacious and tastefully decorated. The living area and kitchen are perfect. The apartment has everything you need including a washing machine and dryer. Audrey explained everything very clearly to us when we arrived to drop off our luggage (the owners facilitated an early drop off before 4pm). In terms of improvements, the water boiler is quite noisy so if someone used the bathroom late, it could wake other guests. We would have appreciated shampoo in the bathroom - some of our party flew with hand luggage only with a small liquids allowance. We enjoyed our stay and it was convenient for the EICC, a 10-15 minute walk. The welcome breakfast pack was a nice touch. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including Napoli-themed Pizzeria 1926 with delicious pizzas!

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. The cottage was well kept and very homely. It was ideal for our family with everything we needed. The location was fantastic. Great walks for the dogs, both at the cottage and nearby (some recommended by the owner). As well as close to a number of child friendly locations and activities for our 7 year old. A large Tesco was nearby as well as some great restaurants. We found it very relaxing and enjoyed watching the garden birds, red squirrel, and local deer. The owner was very helpful, with quick responses, and all relevant information provided in advance. The only point we have to note was the limited water pressure for the shower. The owner did make us aware of this in advance of the visit. Although low pressure, it was also still sufficient, clean, and worked so we could have a shower. Thanks again to Ashley for all her support throughout and her beautiful holiday home.

Well appointed two bedroom,two bathroom apt. Large living room with huge new tv. Kitchen had everything needed. She had coffee and tea for her guests. Bus outside her place directly into center city evert 12-15 minutes. My adult children frequently walked. Samantha was very responsive on messages.

Fantastic house - really comfortable and well located. The location is great right beside the shop. We also enjoyed using the leisure club, the claghsn inn and Skoosh. Easy access to the quieter side of Loch Lomond was ideal. Would definitely recommend.

We just felt right at home and comfortable in Mary's van....location was quiet and easily accessible...lovely little touches throughout...willl be back !!

Mary was fast to respond to any issues that arose, we were in her property for 2 months and anything which required attention was seen to quickly. the house is in one of the nicest parts of town, I'd generally quiet and comfortable.

Great place, clean and comfy. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

We had such a fantastic weekend away! Lots of lovely walks and shops close by for a few things we forgot.. The lodge has everything you’d need, along with a generous hamper! Gail was so responsive, friendly and helpful with anything we needed. What a fab lodge and 100% a great deal!

I recently stayed at this lovely cabin in the woods and it was an amazing getaway from the noise of everyday life. The cabin was incredibly cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful nature made it the perfect retreat. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and relax!

Loved every minute of staying at pinewood. So peaceful everything was very clean would recommend this place to any couple that’s wanting a few nights get away. The hot tub made it perfect🙏🏼 Thank you very much and we will hopefully be back again very soon :)

lodge idéale pour famille de 2 adultes et 2 enfants mais pas 4 adultes car petits lits de 65cm pour la chambre double. sinon très beau lodge, parc calme et proche de la ville. le lodge est tout confort et bien équipé.

Lovely location and just what we were hoping for from Scotland, and our first actual family visit. Isolated enough to be quiet and private, yet close to Tillicoulty and Dollar. Lovely walks into the hills on the doorstep, which is mainly what we came for. Kate was responsive, helpful and friendly throughout which, let's be honest, makes a huge difference to your stay. Also, when travelling a long way (375 miles for us) we found that very reassuring. Overall, recommended!
