It's a lovely place, very clean and spacious, designed in excellent taste. It's a little too rural, so we had issues with wifi connection several times. on the other hand, David was very attentive and available and solved the problems quickly. It would have been nice to have more clarity about on site boating options. we weren't sure we have access to the deck without disturbing others, and whether there are boats/canoes available. All in all - a lovely place, very nice owner.

Lovely space - just like the pictures. A little tricky to find the first time, but its location is part of what makes it so peaceful. The cottage was perfect for our needs and the hot tub was delightful. David answered all our inquiries promptly and even let us check in early when I asked. We had some issues with the internet service, but that was clearly weather-related. And although he was unable to resolve the issue before we checked out, David was very responsive and reached out to the internet company right away and made every effort to get it fixed.

Came down for a rugby tournament with a group from Kingston ON. This spot was spacious, clean, very nice and up to date. No issues at all! Would love to come back in the summer once the weather is nicer to enjoy the beautiful yard set up they had.

My personal best Airbnb experience hands down!! The home owners thought of everything, and you have everything you need except for your own personal belongings and sustenance. This is how Airbnb’s used to be back in the day but Ryan and his family’s home have taken it to the next level! Modern, clean, clutter free. They’ve thought of literally everything. Worth every penny. Don’t hesitate. If you’re staying up in the 1000 islands, stay here. No brainer in my book! Thanks, Ryan and fam for a wonderful last minute weekday getaway.

The house and grounds were great, Such a wonderful find for a weekend getaway. Gillian med us upon our arrival and gave us a third walk-through of the property. A very kind and welcoming host. There was an incredible amount of space in this country ranch, both indoors and out. A hot tub was clean and large enough for my group to hang out, picnic tables outside, made for a good barbecue. It was such a short trip to downtown Alexandria Bay, five minutes, it really was a great place to be right next to the heart of it all well not being stuck the rest of the visitors. We all look forward to looking this place again and enjoying the thousand islands

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Jay’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The place itself was everything we could have asked for—cozy, beautifully designed, and nestled in a stunningly scenic area with breathtaking views. During our weekend stay, we experienced over a foot of snow, but Jay had already arranged for a plow service in advance, ensuring the driveway was always clear and accessible. Thanks to his careful planning, we had no issues coming and going, which made our stay stress-free and enjoyable. Beyond that, Jay was an exceptional host—communicative, proactive, and incredibly accommodating. He kept us updated throughout our stay and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The house was in a nice area and was very clean. Host was very helpful and quick with his responses. Would recommend to anyone thinking of staying here!

Wendy's cottage was a great find. The lake and large dock were beautiful. The cottage itself had all the necessities and was very clean. Wendy was very responsive as well, whether it was with our questions or info about the cottage. The cottage sleeps a lot and would be great for families and kids; for adults if you have a spare foam mattress-topper or even a thin air mattress or sleeping bag it might be worth bringing as the beds are quite hard for those that might like a softer bed but all-in-all a great cottage and great location.

what a beautiful place!! beautiful view, very quiet, very private, comfortable bed, plenty of coffees & tees! my dog played with their doggie. very friendly kind people. we enjoyed walking on frozen lake, making fire in the snow. we definitely wanna visit in summer time!

The furniture is clean and comfortable, and the bathroom had all the necessary amenities. We especially liked that there was plenty of space for clothing and belongings, and appreciated the wifi, nice TV and games.

My family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at Windswept Cottage. We visited off-season on a last minute trip while our kids were on break from school. The weather was mostly uncooperative, so we spent a lot of time hunkered down and never wanted for anything. It is well supplied and they really had thought of everything. The warnings about the stairs were appreciated. They felt a little treacherous at first, but we were going up and down with ease after the first couple of trips. Good idea to keep an eye on kids as the description recommends. Our boys occasionally got a little overconfident. Tl:dr - Great stay, and we'll be back!

Lovely place! Location was great! Place was cozy, clean, and a wonderful home away from home. We will definitely look to be staying here again when in the area!

We rented this place over the long weekend and just loved it. Robert was a very response host. Everything was perfect. Very spacious place with everything you could possibly need. Very close to town, grocery store and sight seeing. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.

Diane was a very helpful and delightful host. She was very accommodating, as we had a boat and she was very flexible about our time constraint. We would definitely stay there again.

What a gem this cottage is. We’d move in forever! Loved the open concept and the updated kitchen and bathroom. Perfect for our dog with a forest hiking trail close by. We enjoyed coffee and cocktails on the dock for sunrises and sunsets. Idyllic!

I was lucky to come to Isabelle’s place for a family getaway. It was the perfect place for relaxing - it feels very remote and quiet, with tons of cute deer to watch in the evenings, a nice dock for watching the sunset, and a very cozy living space. The ferry rides were also a fun little experience. I was surprised at how many supplies they had stocked the kitchen with, enough for us to try complicated recipes. The latte machine (with milk frother) and complimentary coffee was also a huge bonus! Isabelle was always quick to reply and very helpful when we had any questions, before and during our stay. Definitely hoping to come back soon. Would highly recommend for a secluded and peaceful stay.

Our second visit proved to be as lovely as the first! We loved everything about this cozy cottage and the beautiful views that it provides of Lake Ontario. Our son loved running out the back door and straight into the lake. The sunsets kept us in perpetual awe!!

We loved our stay here. The house was perfect for my dad and I. We enjoyed the living room and big main bathroom. Lots of options for outdoor seating and the dead end street made it a very quiet/private location. Close to all the Thousand Island destinations we wanted to visit.

This cottage is in a great location with awesome sun sets. The cottage has a great main floor layout and large bedrooms. THe outside large grassy area's/fire pit were also really good. Dale is great to communicate with.

We totally loved Mexi’s place. It was super relaxing and restful for us. It was so comfortable, it felt like home. Mexi is very easy to communicate with which made it nice. Thanks, Mexi! And… Mexi had everything you might need on your visit away… from blow dryer and straightener, to shampoo/conditioner/body wash, and much more. One spot we really liked a lot was the porch. So peaceful. You won’t be disappointed. We would come back.

Lovely stay at this AirBnB, the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and there was a warm community atmosphere in the neighboring households. The views from the house and the yard were astonishing and the house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. A perfect stay!

A wonderful spot to relax and enjoy. The cottage is cozy and filled with all the little extras that make it feel welcoming. We enjoyed the campfire area many evenings and the smoker/BBQ every night! The covered sitting area was a great spot for meals and the hammock for lazy afternoon naps. The shoreline is a bit weedy but there is a raft further out for swimming.

The perfect little getaway! We had a great stay! The hosts were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The cabin was the perfect place for a couple to stay. It has a cozy environment and a great view of the lake! We loved sitting out on the swing and using the kayaks with the perfect weather. We absolutely loved it and I hope we get to go back.
