An absolutely amazingly beautiful little cottage with very peaceful surroundings! Mark and Tracey were perfect, nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay for our mini moon! Mark the food was delicious and there was plenty of it! Mark lit a BBQ for us one night and when we went up he had laid plates of spices and herb butter! The cottage was clean and cosy! Plenty of fresh towels and the kitchen had everything we needed! We are so glad we picked you guys for a memorable stay! We will see you at Glasto in June xx

We’ve just spent a wonderful four nights here, absolutely loved it. Helen is a wonderful host, property was exactly as described, warm and cosy, lovely homely feel. Big bonus with this property is the free onsite parking, a rarity in Polperro. The walk back up from the village is a bit slower, but is how it’s described in the listing. We preferred to go to & fro the village via Brackenside lane (follow google maps) which continues onto a pretty woodland path and down a long flight of steps coming out near the ice cream shop. The ice cream shop is amazing! Beautiful lunch at The Three Pilchards and the views from the roof terrace eating area are spectacular. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

We loved our stay at Miranda’s place! It was clean, the views were stunning & she was extremely responsive and helpful. Thankful for this wonderful spot for some time with family!

Great love and care has been taken with this converted cottage. Everything is 5* accommodation is immaculate, but still homely and the attention to detail amazing, from slippers and robes for the hot tub and milk, butter, tea bags and a delicious lemon cake !! Thank you Alan and Davina, we hope to be back Xx

Evie et Tom sont des hôtes très accueillant, pleins d'attention et très disponible en cas de besoin. un Gîte que je recommande fortement et on sera ravis de retourner.

A beautifully kept cottage with plenty to do within walking distance, friendly locals, and an unlimited amount of nature to explore. Ceri and Daniel are great hosts, and clearly care about their guests! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, would highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay, brilliant location and exactly as described. Charlotte was great at communicating before our stay and we found the place very easily!

We stayed for a long weekend with our dog and only wish it had been for longer. It's so peaceful, and with walks right from the door it was exactly what we needed. Richard and Eva were both so friendly and offered great recommendations. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and we hope to return another time.

The exact location isn't too clear when you book - but this place is actually like a small countryside heaven. It feels very peaceful and isolated, although you're within a few minutes drive from amenities (a few supermarkets) and the town centre. Sally was very helpful as soon as arrived, and super responsive all along. The cottage itself was small but perfectly fine for a family with 2 kids (the bedroom, upstairs, is really large though). All the essential was there, and in good working order. And it was great chilling on the lawn by the river, watching the sheep on the other side and the blossoming apple trees in Sally's garden, once the kids were in bed. I wish our stay had been longer to enjoy it further!

Julie's place was a fantastic place to stay during our time in Portland. The place was spotless, smelt nice and had all the amenities and items you might need for your stay. Locally, the walks are absolutely breathtaking! Some of the best views I have seen anywhere! There are a few food shops and takeaways locally, all fairly priced and good food. We will definitely return!

Spotlessly clean hideaway. So peaceful yet minutes walk from the centre of Dawlish. Completely safe walled garden for the dogs. Train station 5min away, great coastal scenery in all directions. Nice walk to Dawlish Warren and plenty of places to eat and drink. 3 generations and suited us all. Would highly recommend.

Very comfortable, clean and compact accommodation in a beautiful spot with easy access to Yarmouth and Freshwater (and beyond). Proximity to Golden Hill Fort country park was ideal for walking the dogs.

The cottage was comfortable and nicely furnished. We loved the rural location which was also in reach of all the attractions the Island has to offer. The bathroom is within the bedroom which wouldn't suit everyone, but fine for us. We would recommend for a peaceful break.

Lovely, clean, well equipped, cosy cottage in a beautiful area. Jo was really quick to respond to any questions and left a very delicious cake to welcome us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved our stay at Hope Cottage! The cottage itself is cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, with every little detail taken care of. It really felt like a home away from home. The location is fantastic, nestled in the peaceful Normandy countryside yet close enough to visit local attractions easily. The host was incredibly sweet and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He even shared local tips that made our experience even more special. The freshness of the surrounding was so beautiful. We do recommend that you must be traveling by car as it is in a private area.

This was our third stay at Deborah's cottage and it was just as lovely as before. The interior is perfect for our needs and very nicely furnished and organised. But the wow factor comes from the setting, just 5 minutes walk from L'Eree beach and in beautiful, large gardens, just for our own use, with a variety of tables, chairs and loungers. It's very quiet and private. Deborah is always very responsive to any query and is friendly without being intrusive. We would really recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful andf peaceful base in Guernsey, with lots of outdoor space and facilities and near to the coast road and beach.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Cottage de la Braize with our two teenagers. Enora was a thoughtful and generous host—knowing we would arrive late, she arranged a beautiful basket of local produce and meals, including delicious wine and apple juice, so we had everything we needed for a relaxing dinner on arrival. The house itself is absolutely charming—spacious, beautifully maintained, and perfectly equipped with everything we could possibly need. Each of the three bedrooms was large and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything to make it feel like a home away from home. The setting was peaceful and idyllic, a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the French countryside. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Thank you, Enora and Ed for such a delightful stay—we hope to return one day!

We can’t fault our stay at Jasmine Cottage - it was everything we could have hoped for & more! It was the perfect stay for our little family & we have already said we can’t wait to come again. The location was ideal, close by to many South Devon tourist spots, & it was great to get away from the hustle & bustle on a night in this cosy cottage.
