I wanted to celebrate my 60th birthday with a lovely water view and with my large family. We have the added consideration of my son-in-law, who has suffered a stroke and is seriously disabled. The house at Kemah was wonderfully perfect. The views over the bay are gorgeous - even on cloudy winter days. The home is spacious and we did not feel crowded. There is an elevator, which allowed my son-in-law be upstairs with us. The home owner provides plenty of things to do, including games and puzzles, ping pong, and fuze ball. Fishing on the lovely pier is another option. There is a prep table to fillet your catch and a refrigerator designated to store it, so the kitchen fridge stays fish-smell free. We stayed in for our meals, but the house is very close to the boardwalk and you can walk to restaurants and bars. 1 of 2 ovens is labeled out of service, and so is the fireplace. Also. the dishwasher doesn’t clean well. For us, these were not problems. We all hope to stay here again!

We had a great time at this house, view of the water was wonderful. Plenty of room and comfy beds. Kayaks, corn hole, and a hot tub kept everyone entertained. Walked to Noah’s Ark restaurant for good food. Note that the pier only goes out as far as you see in the pictures, and then ends. We enjoyed it, would stay again!

An absolute retreat! From the beginning, getting inside and settled was a breeze thanks to the great description. The rooms and living area make you feel right at home whilst on a vacay (I extended my stay it was so lovely) the backyard is so beautiful, paddle boating fishing was fun. Outside of basking in the nature, the bathroom feels so lush I felt like I was at a self service-spa! I was alone, with mostly vacant suites.. but Mike and Abby were close by, responsive, went above and beyond to ensure I had a great stay, and departure. God bless your family, and place! I loved this place and the peaceful setting to just get away and relax. It's close to things to do but the best part is view and soothing atmosphere of having the water right out the back door. The set up of the house is cute and modern. I'm looking forward to coming back for another weekend in the future.

My husband and I stayed for the weekend and let me tell you, this little gem exceeded our expectations. The place was just like the pictures so there were no surprises. Our room had everything we needed and was very clean. The location of this place was perfect! We had peace and quiet while fishing off the pier and swimming in the outdoor pool. We were truly able to relax and enjoy everything there was to offer. The hosts Mike and Abby were very nice and communicated well with us. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Great hosts. Great location and lots of amenities for the kids. Highly recommend checking this out.

Quick getaway for my husband, fur babies and I. This home was perfect for couples with pets. Our dogs enjoyed relaxing with us on the front porch while we had our coffee. Home had all that we needed to stay comfortable and feel at home. Will definitely stay again.

Nice beach home... big for a big gathering...plenty of space.... Had a great stay
