It was nice staying at this Chalet. It felt home, cozy, serene and very private. Eventhough there are lots of cameras around the property but we felt safe for that. I didn't find the cameras are hampering our privacy. Only concern is you need to climb to the ladder to get into the Common Space two. So if you are big group of people then I would say that place is good for any teen boys or girls or who is athletic to climb up and down to the common space. We didn't need to use that area since we were a small group of people and we enjoyed our stay.

Camp Shady is a picturesque riverside cabin away from all distractions. There’s plenty of room for the family or a few friends. Three bedrooms containing 2 full size beds and one with two twins. Despite there being no cell service, a strong WiFi connection and smart TV left little to be desired. Whether you’re there for the outdoors or Lake George, this is a great place to stay.

This was our second year staying here with friends, and we had such a lovely time. There's plenty to do inside the house itself even on a dreary day, with curiosities and art abound, instruments, games, fireplace, etc, a great kitchen for group meals, and spacious and comfortable rooms otherwise. Olia is very kind and responsive, with plenty tips for the local area. We'd recommend for groups or families in an instant. Nothing like relaxing in the hot tub while looking out at the mountain vista with rain pattering on the porch roof above - pure bliss.

This place is wonderful! The minute we walked in the door we felt right at home. We stayed during February and took advantage of the snowy conditions in the area. After playing outdoors, we were able to come "home" and get warm and cozy. Joanne has done a beautiful job decorating. It has everything you need for cooking if you prefer that to eating out. It's also close to all the fun activities. We loved it and are hoping to stay again this summer.

Great place that was clean, comfortable and cozy. There were excellent instructions for everything and my family loved the hot tub!

Joe’s Cabin was a perfect space for our family! Long driveway was perfect for sledding with our 3 year old, we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere yet so close to the main street in lake placid. Skiing was great and not a far drive from whiteface either. Amazing views out of the living room windows of the mountains in the distance. Snowed every day we were there and there was a snowplow that always made his way down the road and driveway. Joe was a great host and very accommodating. Loved being able to bring our dog with us as well!

We loved our stay. The place was clean, cozy, and very peaceful—perfect for a family getaway. One of the highlights for us was the selection of board games and toys, which kept our kids happily entertained the whole time. The location is also great, just a short drive from Letchworth State Park, which made our outdoor adventures super convenient. Maribeth, the host, was kind and responsive throughout our stay. We definitely recommend this place!

This is my third time staying at Juris' fantastic home. It is an ideal accomodation to escape from the city when you want to unplug and reconnect with friends and nature. It is also very close to some very fun trails and a short drive to great restaurants and other happenings. Will definitely be coming back.

This is a truly beautiful home and property and we had a wonderful few days enjoying everything it had to offer! The kids between our two families had endless fun with the arcade, hot tub, exploring the property and creek, and the slumber party they got to have in the upper bedroom. As for the adults, we got to unwind and enjoy, as Stefanie has thought of everything as a host and made it a breeze to check in and relax. The couple hiccups or questions we had at the start were quickly answered and resolved through messages and all instructions for check out were easy and straightforward. Would love to book this home during ski season in the future as the views of and proximity to the mountain are amazing!

Eric and Kate's mountain house is spot-on as a place to kick back, relax, and enjoy some time in the woods! The deck is great for soaking in some sun and the indoor fire place was perfect to snuggle up in front of on cold nights. There are lots of restaurants, breweries, shops, and sights to see in nearby Roscoe and Livingston Manor. Eric and Kate's place has everything you could need or want for your stay.

We love this place. We had such a great experience last year that we had to come back. The house has everything you need to have a good time. The living room is so big that you can have a large group and not feel on top of each other. There's a pool table, foosball table and a hot tub, What else do you need! I definitely would recommend this house. Thanks again Dave for an awesome time. We are looking forward to next year!!

Lovely stay with family and friends. The host went out of his way to ensure our arrival was smooth, even with a very icy driveway and up to two inches of snow falling. The space is beautiful, secluded and serene. But also close to restaurants in Mt. Tremper and good hikes.

We had a great stay at Genesis’s place! It was exactly as described: clean, cozy, and comfortable. We especially loved the location - it was peaceful and scenic, and just a short drive to Hudson, where we enjoyed some fantastic restaurants and shops. The mattresses were super comfortable, which made our stay even more relaxing. Would definitely recommend to everyone. Thank you, Genesis!

Beautiful home, even better in person! Clean and cozy. Each room was stylishly and uniquely decorated. Great for large groups.

Had a small weekend trip away in the mountains. The group had a blast. The landscape was beautiful. It rained one night and snowed the next, so we spent a lot of time indoor; but the place is beautiful, and we definitely plan to come back in warmer weather for a longer time!

Rebecca and Curtis were wonderful hosts. The mountain view alone is worth every penny paid and the space was peaceful and beautiful. We are a family of 5 (2 adults, 1 child, 2 pets) and the rooms were very spacious and clean. We appreciated the quality of every detail, from the fire pit and outdoor dining table to the cookware. Most major amenities (supermarket, Walmart etc..) are 25 min away which was fine for us. We will be back again. Thank you, Rebecca and Curtis, for allowing us into your lovely space!

This place was better than the pictures. Plenty of room, stocked cupboards even coffee and filters for guests to use. Paper towels, dish soap, bathroom amenities, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, even toothpaste if you forgot yours. Lakefront property; beautiful lakeview with wildlife too. Great for family with kids. Pretty much thought of everything. Shadow was more than accomodating. Can imagine this would be the spot to be in the summer!

We had a great time at the Chalet, and all the extra touches were appreciated. Plenty of towels, available firewood, kcups for coffee and many other extra touches. We did a lot of cooking, and kitchen was stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. Great location. When not enjoying Lake Sacandaga, Saratoga and Lake George are also close by to visit. We would definitely stay here again!

What a haven! A really lovely, clean, and well-stocked home. All the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry amenities you’d need, tv in just about every room, easy-to-adjust heating and air conditioning, comfortable beds with fresh linens, and just spectacular views. Twin recliners built into the couch! Multiple decks! Off the road enough to feel secluded. We’d go back again in a heartbeat.

We had a snowmobile trip planned, but we encountered some problems, and that didn't work out. We ended up booking Anna and JP's house at the last minute. We had a wonderful time. The house was lovely, with beautiful views and a quiet environment. The hot tub was a hit with the teenagers, it is clean and well maintained. We would like to come back during the summer. Laurie's place was just wonderful. We love historic houses with a lot of charm and carefully designed interiors with all modern comfort. The surroundings are just so peaceful and serene, so that recovery from NYC life was possible. The kitchen is fully equipped and we were able to cook for family members near by. All in all we had a wonderful time spend with hiking, cooking and resting. We will love to come back in the summer when we can take advantage of the lake nearby.

It is a very unique say in the fact that it was absolutely perfect for a group of musicians to get away from the rest of the world and just make music. There was no bad aspects about this place! We all greatly appreciate you and the opportunity to stay at your absolutely gorgeous house.
