Michael greeted us on arrival and was extremely welcoming and took time to show us around his beautiful home. This was a family holiday with 6 adults and the ample space both inside and out worked perfectly for us all, we felt at home and relaxed. The whole house is extremely luxuriously and well equipped, we used the BBQ and the pizza oven both of which worked perfectly. Michael was always available to help with any questions we had and the location is perfect for day trips to Firenze, Siena etc. We enjoyed a wonderful week and would thoroughly recommend Michael’s home.

From a long retired couple... Very enjoyable week's stay during September in Ruth's spacious, clean, comfortable and comprehensively equipped, family oriented villa. Ideal base for local hiking (which we didn't) and surprisingly well located, given its fairly remote position, for sampling good quality nearby restaurants (which we did). Good scope for cultural and shopping trips: eg. Bologna, Faenza, Dozza (delightful) and outlet centres incl. Barberino (convenient and extensive). We found Ruth to be a very welcoming, helpful and accessible host with a ready wealth of local knowledge - a much underrated asset that certainly enhanced our visit. 6Stanco - go for it!

We searched for months for the perfect place for our family of 5 to spend 9 days in Tuscany- and we found it! This house is located a nice distance from Lucca, Cinque Terra, Pisa and Florence. However- the house and grounds were so beautiful that we were always torn about staying home or going exploring. We spent mornings at the pool and evenings adventuring. Andrea was a warm and kind host, always helpful. We had plenty of room for two adults and three young kids. We are beyond grateful to have gotten to spend time in this special place. The photos don’t do it justice. Do not hesitate to book this! Really such a special place. Thank you, Andrea and family.

Met 2 families de twee appartementen gehuurd voor een week met tieners. Lekker rustig chillen op de berg en gezellige dorpjes in de omgeving. Top locatie. Uiteraard heeft het weer ook goed meegewerkt!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem charmanten Airbnb in der Toskana. Das Haus bietet sowohl innen als auch außen viele Möglichkeiten zum Aufenthalt. Die Aussicht über die weite Landschaft ist einfach atemberaubend und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Der Garten ist ein echtes Highlight – ideal für gemütliche Abende im Freien. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und hat schnell auf alle Fragen reagiert. Insgesamt eine perfekte Unterkunft für einen ruhigen und erholsamen Aufenthalt. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Siamo stati solo 3 giorni e purtroppo abbiamo incontrato cattivo tempo, ma questo non ci ha impedito di sfruttare l'immenso giardino che con due bambini piccoli è stata la salvezza🙂 La casa offre molti spazi (eravamo due famiglie) lasciando modo di avere la giusta tranquillità e privacy all'occorrenza. Alessandro è stato molto disponibile e gentile e la sua mamma, che abbiamo conosciuto prima di andarcene, è una signora molto simpatica e affabile.

We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf! Fantastische locatie, mooi rustig tussen de olijfbomen met een uitzonderlijk fraai uitzicht! Je kunt hier helemaal tot rust komen en toch is er genoeg te zien/ervaren/proeven in de omgeving!

Excellent séjour chez Sara et Paolo. Très bon accueil dans leur charmant logement. Cadre idéal, paisible, bonne literie et propreté irréprochable. La terrasse est magnifique. Merci pour ces bons moments passés chez vous.

Wat een fantastisch verblijf hebben wij gehad in dit heerlijke huis in Matraia! Vanaf het eerste moment voelde het als een thuis weg van huis. Het huis is ruim, smaakvol ingericht en brandschoon – precies wat je hoopt te vinden. Hoewel we de pech hadden dat het de eerste dagen koud was, bleek de verwarming snel en efficiënt. Binnen no-time was het huis behaaglijk warm, waardoor we volop konden genieten van onze tijd samen. Het absolute hoogtepunt? Zonder twijfel het terras. Vanaf daar kijk je uit over het schilderachtige Lucca – een uitzicht dat elke dag weer betoverend was, zeker bij zonsondergang. Een plek waar je eindeloos wilt blijven zitten, met een goed glas wijn. Voor onze kinderen was de slaapvide een groot avontuur. Ze vonden het geweldig om daar hun eigen knusse plek te hebben een detail dat hun vakantie nog specialer maakte. De ligging van het huis is ideaal: rustig en omgeven door natuur, maar toch dicht bij tal van leuke uitstapjes. Wij kijken met een glimlach terug.

Comfortable and nicely appointed three bed / two bath apartment within walking distance to Luca old town. Very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend as an AirBNB. Host provided check-in and other information well in advance, and lots of helpful tourist advice / information about Luca and the area. Found Luca a great base to explore Tuscany.

Byly jsme zde ubytovány 3 rodiny (6 dospělých a 4 děti ve věku od 2 do 5 let). již jsme zde byli ubytovaní v loňském roce a stejně jako loni, i letos bylo vše skvělé. navíc byla letos zrekonstruovaná druhá koupelna, takže obě byly nové a moderní. hostitel byl velmi vstřícný již při rezervaci pobytu. navíc nám zajistil třetí dětskou postýlku, v den příjezdu nám umožnil dřívější ubytování a v den odjezdu nám umožnil pozdější odjezd, což jsme s malými dětmi velmi ocenili. každý den byl čištěn bazén, který jsme nakonec kvůli počasí využili jen na začátku pobytu. s malými dětmi jsme ocenili velkou oplocenou zahradu.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso. Lara e la sua famiglia sono persone autentiche, di una gentilezza e semplicità disarmanti. La casa è pulitissima, accogliente e dotata di ogni comfort, immersa in un paesaggio tranquillo e pittoresco. A soli 10 minuti d’auto c’è Gallicano, comoda per ogni necessità. E se non si ha voglia di cucinare, la cucina casalinga di Lara è imperdibile: genuina e deliziosa. Un’esperienza che consigliamo di cuore.

We had a fantastic stay at Pia E Marco’s place! The unit is extremely clean, modern, and spacious. The hosts truly care about making your stay as enjoyable as possible. When we return to Bologna, we will absolutely be staying at Pia E Marco’s place again!

Loredana was an incredible host. There were 16 of us celebrating my birthday. She was super accommodating and kind. The villa is an oasis! It looks so much better in real life than in the photographs. We will be coming back! Thank you Loredana and Alessandro ☺️

Das Haus war super schön und gepflegt. Der Pool ist sehr groß und eignet sich sehr gut zum Schwimmen. Die Ausstattung der Küche war ebenfalls hervorragend.

I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Bologna. We stayed for 3 weeks and felt right at home from day one. The location is brilliant very walkable into the centre or to the local shops. It is very peaceful and you feel in a real community. The apartment likewise had everything you would need for longer stays and we felt upset to leave. Great host who is really responsive.

A beautiful home with the most magnificent view and surroundings! Getting there: We drove SUV cars, which is reccomended as the road to the house is quite steep. Drive to the house via the small town Eglio. The house: The house is beautiful! Every room has a stunning chestnut ceiling and the interior is kept simple but elegant. It is easy to cook own meals in the lovely kitchen. Everything is clean and tidy! The owner: Due to traffical issues from Bologna, we arrived a couple of hours late, but owner of the house Richard was very kind and did not make an issue of this. Richard was also kind to reccomend a local chestnut festival which we attended. Lovely to experience local culture and food. Where to go: We used the house as a base to travel to Lucca, Pisa, Florence and Pietrasanta (town for people interested in art). It is reccomended to take the train from Lucca to Florence (1½ house) and Pisa (½ hour). Easy and accessable. And the trip via the mountains to the ocean is lovely.

L’unità 2 e 3 di Federigo sono adatte a grandi di gruppi (noi eravamo in 13). Forse unica pecca (senza nessuna colpa a Federigo) è il divano letto nel soggiorno. Le unità sono composte da grandi camerate quindi con poca privacy. I 3 bagni sono sicuramente molto utili e anche la zona BBQ deve essere interessante per l’estate. Posizione ottima per visitare Lucca ma anche Firenze e la versilia. Consigliato quindi per brevi vacanze con tante persone.

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt in der Finka von Leonardo :-) die Finka liegt auf einem sehr schönen Hügel mit einem tollen Blick ins Tal. In der Finka findet man insgesamt vier Badezimmer und somit reichlich Platz, um auch mit bis zu 10 Personen morgens schnell fertigzuwerden. Außerdem ist ein geräumiges Wohnzimmer inkl. Fernseher enthalten, wo man auch mal gemeinsam ein wenig Zeit drinnen verbringen kann, wenn es einem draußen zu warm wird. Der Außenbereich ist auch super mit einem Holzkohlegrill, einer Veranda mit genügend Platz und noch ein wenig Liegefläche. Der Pool ist 20-30 Meter vom Haus entfernt und sehr groß. Grundausstattung ist (entgegen der Beschreibung) übrigens auch enthalten! Bei sonstigen Angelegenheiten ist Leonardo immer hilfsbereit. Zwei Tipps noch für die Unterkunft: Bringt Mücken-/Bremsenspray (v.a. Für den Pool abends) mit und am besten genug Reifenprofil und PS, um die Anfahrt hoch auf den Hügel zu meistern. 10/10 would recommend! :-)

Excellent location for peace and quiet and relaxation. we were well accommodated and friendly host only added to the great experience.

We verbleven in deze prachtige Toscaanse villa, volledig in authentieke Italiaanse stijl. Het huis ligt op een schitterende locatie met uitzicht over Montecatini – ’s avonds een zee van lichtjes! Door oponthoud onderweg kwamen we pas om 23.00 uur aan, maar dat was voor Cristina geen enkel probleem. Ze wachtte ons vriendelijk op en nam ruim de tijd om ons alles te laten zien. Cristina is een uitstekende gastvrouw en de communicatie verliep vlot en prettig in het Engels. De villa is erg privé, met een groot afgesloten terrein en een hek rondom. Parkeren kan gewoon op eigen terrein. Een kleine tip voor toekomstige gasten: volg niet blindelings je routeplanner. Die stuurt je via een smal kronkelpad waar je nauwelijks met één auto overheen kan. Neem bij voorkeur de route via de andere kant. Het zwembad is ’s avonds sfeervol verlicht en de omgeving biedt tal van mooie uitstapjes naar stadjes als Lucca, Florence, Pistoia en Siena. We komen graag nog eens terug!

Mauro (der Besitzer des Hauses) war suuuuuper freundlich und hat uns wertvolle Ausflugstipps gegeben. Das Haus liegt sehr abgelegen im Wald und man befindet sich dort im Paradis!! Für uns(2 Erw./3 Kinder) war die Schlafsituation etwas eng, auch die Taschen unterzubringen, aber für 2 Wochen kein Problem! Auch die deutschen Nachbarn, es ist ja ein Doppelhaus, samt Hund waren sehr freundlich. Wir hatten Glück, Hunde haben sich bestens verstanden. Das Haus ist klein, aber langt vollkommen. Die Aussicht mit abendlichen Sonnenuntergängen ist einfach der Hammer!!!
