You have the entire ground floor, a two-room suite with large window views of Mt. Hood & the Columbia River. Windsurfers, kiters & sailboats zip across the river right below the hot tub & patio. Level 2 EV charging station. The bedroom has a TV & comfortable queen bed. The TV room has a gas fireplace & 46-inch TV. Our food prep area has a microwave, toaster oven, coffeemaker & fridge. It does not have a sink or stove. White Salmon is 3/4 mile and Hood River is 2 miles, across the river.

Recent Guest Let the kid in you come to play in this real treehouse held up by four trees, 18 feet off the ground. Zip line down or take a giant soaking tub. A magical stroll through the woods leads to the suspension bridge. You won't believe you're only minutes from town. Wear appropriate shoes as it is a short 2-minute hike to the tree house. At times, it can get a little slick.

Cozy creative loft ("treehouse") in serene peaceful forest setting near Rock Creek, 1 mile from Skamania Lodge or waterfall. Our incredible homestead nestled in the woods is the perfect place to make memories. Make it a getaway in the Gorge. Step outside for a walk in the woods or along the river where peace and beauty will surround you. Trails and rivers are all in the backyard! Take an authentic Finnish wood fired sauna with hot water and cold plunge (add as an extra) or gaze at the grand stone fireplace after watching the salmon spawning on the river. Possibilities for local recreation in the gorge also abound.

Cabin 43 on the White Salmon River

Cabin 43 is a new home we built ourselves located right on the wild and scenic White Salmon river. We finished this project (June, 2020) and are excited to share this beautiful place with guests. It features a King bed in 1 room and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom which can be pushed together to make a 2nd king bed. We live in a cluster of 8 other cabins down gravel road in a very serene forest setting with a large field out front and private river side walking trails.
