Estelle’s place is a little slice of farm heaven. Magical for a family getaway. Beautiful gardens, and friendly service, and lots of farm animal interactions made for a peaceful and fun loving family holiday. This is a place for those looking to escape to wide open spaces, and switch off. While still being close enough to the little town of Greyton to enjoy some low key shopping, and characterful restaurants.

Most enjoyable stay. Very quiet, safe and peaceful for those who want to escape the rush of everyday life. The fact that the house has no electricity, gives the place an even bigger charm. Heleen is a super host and has assisted us in a most friendly and helpfull manner, even with issues not related to our stay.

We had a lovely, peaceful and restful stay. It was quiet, beautiful views and scenery. The cottage was very well equipped, clean snd super cosy. We slept well too. We loved the comfy dining chairs the most, could sit and read in them all day, with that stunning view infront on you. We'd recommended to anyone looking to escape a busy life for a few days.

Fantastic location far from the hustle and bustle of city life. The perfect way to get away and recharge in nature. Great facilities and accommodation. Good spot to visit with children / family. Easy hiking trail options which offer something for the whole family. Highly recommend a visit here. We will be back for sure.

We had such a lovely stay! The space was not only spotless and beautifully maintained, but it also had so many thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. What stood out most was how incredibly child-friendly the place was. There were a dress up box, books, trampoline, play park and best of all - animals that kept our little ones entertained. My kids loved the animal feeding with Chisomo where they could also gather eggs from the chickens. The treasure was also quite enjoyable for both us and the kids :) The garden is so amazing!! A Truly Magical Escape – Frog Mountain Stole Our Hearts Wow, some places truly touch your soul, and Frog Mountain is one of them. You can feel the love, care, and passion that Gabriela has poured into creating this magical retreat. Our stay was nothing short of incredible. From the joy of walking up to the labyrinth and witnessing a breathtaking sunset to the pure exhilaration of squealing down the foofy slide—every moment felt special. We loved hiking to the waterfall and rock pools, immersing ourselves in nature’s beauty. Our cozy rondavel felt like a warm hug after each day of adventure. The charm of Frog Mountain extends beyond the landscapes—it’s in the horses grazing peacefully, the cows wandering the fields, and the symphony of beautiful birdsong each morning. Swimming in the river was a refreshing delight, and every corner of this place felt like a gift to the soul. We are deeply grateful

Such a beautiful place. An awesome setting. The property is very well maintained. All necessary equipment or requirements fully met. Had a close encounter with a snake, which is not unexpected in the mountains. Flies a little troublesome. Again, not unexpected. Lovely pool. Would love to return in winter. Big fireplace. Would be an excellent place to write a book.

Really awesome stay! Only thing would be all the flies and bugs but that is out of the hosts control. There was doom and candles available. Had a really awesome experience. Very friendly host.

Absolutely loved Renee’s place. Peaceful and private. That lookout in the morning over the fields and seeing the horses and the beautiful landscape is special. Weather was not the best but the fireplace inside kept the place well heated. Everything we needed was there, did not expect the games, thoroughly enjoyed it. The braai spot was tops with everything you need. Bedroom was just enough, we could plug in our tv box and connect to the wifi, no issues. The horses…loved it. The highlight was the hot tub…after getting the fire going to heat it up…we got stuck in there for a few hours, loved it. Thanks again Renee. Highly recommended if you just want to break away.

We stayed here for two nights as part of a longer trip from the UK in the Western Cape. This was such a lovely spot to just stop and relax. We loved the inside/outside space and a cooler/rainy day gave us the opportunity to enjoy a hot tub under the stars. The gardens and grounds are beautiful. Worth a visit to the cutting flower garden across the road. We also really enjoyed the opportunity to swim and kayak in the river. Breakfast hampers a great touch- delicious and beautifully presented. We also made use of ordering braii/ salads and veg which made self catering very easy indeed!

We enjoyed our stay a lot! Perfect place to have a relaxing weekend and we felt right at home on the farm. The complimentary bread, rusks and milk was a nice touch!

Amazing!! It was spotless and had everything we needed and more. It was so peaceful. My wife and I love staying at tiny houses and this definitely made our top 5 list. We will definitely be back again!

Cannot wait to go back! What an amazing place, almost too scared to say how much we loved it, because I fear it will be fully booked (and we won’t be able to go back) 😅 Trevor and Okay were amazing, making sure we knew everything before we arrived, even providing brand new games for my “tweens” because the weather was looking “iffy”. It was peaceful, clean, and the house has everything you need and it is so incredibly beautiful. My boys (10yr & 12yr) had the best time! Loved that there was no TV, and we will absolutely take our dog next time!

I hosted a bachelors weekend at Taylor's farmhouse over a long weekend and we had an incredible time. The house comfortably slept 10 of us and had everything a bachelors group needs and more for this type of weekend - a massive braai, big outdoor dining table, loads of couches, seating, cushions etc., a river to swim in and kayak down and much more! The area surrounding the farmhouse is beautiful, private and quiet but close enough to Stanford (5 mins drive) where you don't feel completely isolated. Taylor as a host was incredible - he was extremely responsive whenever I messaged him and sent me comprehensive instructions and info about the accommodation via PDF before we arrived. If I ever stayed overnight in Stanford again it'd be hard to stay anywhere else but this farmhouse! Highly recommend it, thanks Taylor!

Ive stayed at a quite a few places with the Family over the years however this one met our expectations above and beyond. From the moment I booked Malani provided me with the list of instructions for the house along with helpful tips, she responded almost immediately. We were welcomed by the friendly Casper and his wife with open arms. Would highly recommend this place for a group or Family looking to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Well managed little cottage in a beautiful garden, with all creature comforts. Looks just like advertised, and is kept very clean.

We had a wonderful stay at Daniel's place. Sixteen of us stayed there and there was plenty of room for all with well appointed and comfortable bedrooms. The home is spacious, eclectic, and situated on a lovely farm. A great place to relax, take in the surroundings, play ping pong, play pool, or have a barbecue. There are some great wine farms nearby if you feel like going out. The house was well equipped with all utensils and amenities. In all, we had a great stay and I highly recommend a stay here.

The farmhouse is large, comfortable and very well equipped. The living area is spacious yet cosy with many personal touches. It was a home from home with the added bonus of being in a tranquil spot overlooking the beautiful Hemel en Aarde valley. It is well located, close to many vineyards for winetasting and about a 20 minute drive to Hermanus. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and would not hesitate to come back.

Such an amazing place to unwind. Absolutely loved the accomodation which is very spacious. Each room has an en-suite. 🥰 The house is clean with nice decor and white bedding & towels. Appreciated the two stoves for our big family. Also, really loved the opportunity to pick apples which the kids and adults enjoyed thoroughly. The wooden framed glass doors leads onto the large stoep, overlooking the dam which is stunning. Only downside was the crazy amount of miggies at night. But we figured out that we must close all windows and doors just before it gets dark and that helped tremendously. The beautiful lawns were amazing where kids could run and play games. The dam looked so appealing to swim in but the rocks/stones are sharp and hurt your feet so bring water shoes. That’ll help. All in all, this accomodation is really perfectly suited for a big group. It has everything you’ll need. Also, the ice machine was such a blessing. The host really thought of everything you’ll need.

We had a truly wonderful stay here. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel incredibly welcome with her warm hospitality. The space was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful greenery and the many trees surrounding the house. It created such a peaceful, natural atmosphere that made us feel instantly at ease. Alida went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, and she was always available if we had any questions. The location was serene and perfectly situated for exploring the area. Highly recommended :) we’d love to come back!

The view alone makes booking this airbnb worthwhile! Mandy is a wonderful host and is quick to respond to our questions. The house is very comfortable for large groups and the open plan living area/kitchen is great. There are special loadshedding lamps, a gas stove and a generator which makes living with power outages bearable. What a relaxing week!
