from the beginning, mary ellen kept in touch, lets us know how to get in, told us right where to park, instructions for wifi and what to do upon checkout were clear cut. ole thank you of towels, and heaters to be used as it did get chilly. lots of room to veg out after fill days out! beautiful and serene views! thank you!

Jason’s cozy bungalow had everything we were looking for in a quick weekend getaway from Rochester- quiet and peaceful setting with a view of Honeyoye Lake at the end of the street, a perfectly appointed kitchen, and all the little details we loved about the listing. I can imagine it’s even better in the summer! The home was spotless when we arrive so we could get right to relaxing. Definitely recommend .

We don’t have enough words for how much we loved our stay! It had a little bit of every possible thing we could ask for during a fall stay for our mini-moon!! We fished, we hiked, we kayaked, we had a bonfire, went in the sauna everyday- perfect! The home is better than the pictures! We can’t wait to visit their home again :)

Such a great cabin! Plenty of room for 2 people and 2 80lb dogs. The views are amazing-you couldn’t be any closer to the water. There are docks and cabins close by, but it does feel private. Being October, there wasn’t too much activity on the lake..even with temps in the 80s! It made for a really relaxing trip. We were lucky enough to see a loon and had eagles fly overhead daily..we even had a beaver swim right next to us on the dock!! The cabin has a cozy fireplace (heater) and was well equipped with everything you need. The linens were soft, the towels were thick and the bed was very comfortable! Kayaking was wonderful when the wind allowed. Fishing from the dock wasn’t great, but then again, I am more versed in creek/pond fishing rather than giant lake fishing. I did have a great day fishing at a nearby pond in Hector on the interlocken trail..called teeter pond. Our host (Gillian) was wonderful. It was evident that her guests experience was really important to her.

We loved Pete’s Place. So cozy, great location right on the waterfront. Very clean, stocked with kitchen utensils, clean bathroom. We reached out to the host a couple times, very responsive, and got back to us right away. We will definitely love to stay again.

This was the 3rd year that Dina and her family graciously shared their property with us. My friends and I enjoy the coziness and family friendly atmosphere that is depicted in the photos. This is definitely a place where you can loose yourself in the vastness of the trees, the lake, and lastly the quiet. Makes for true retreat for the soul.

We loved staying at Karen’s cabin. There was a beautiful view of the lake out the window and a nice picnic area for guests right next to the lake. Karen was so accommodating and friendly! She went above and beyond. The little cabin was adorable and comfortable. I liked the little double doors separating the main cabin from the bathroom/entryway area. The shower is nice and hot! Karen has really thought of everything needed to make the stay comfortable. Toaster oven, hot plate, microwave, kettle, pots and pans and silverware and more. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Great location in the finger lakes. There was plenty of space for my family of 7. Lots of extra blankets and an amazing quiet space in the backyard on the lake. I especially loved reading the book left from the host with his amazing published photos of the area! There’s a bulletin board with maps of activities too!

The location is great—right by the lake with stunning views. The apartment was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The host was responsive and made sure our stay was comfortable. Highly recommend this spot for a peaceful getaway

Beautiful home on Lake Seneca with great views of the lake. The home was fully stocked and had plenty of room to spread out with 7 people staying there. Close to many wineries and distilleries. Be aware the road leading to the home is unpaved and in colder weather be sure to have four wheel drive. We will definitely be back to enjoy the views!

We had the BEST stay at Kelly's beautiful home. The views were unmatched, especially amongst the fall foliage. The house was so clean and cozy. We'll be booking again in the future!

We loved everything about this house. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The location was perfect and Daniel sent a detailed email ahead of time that listed tons of recommendations for local restaurants, wineries and things to do which was very helpful for planning. We had a wonderful time and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We had a great stay here! David was easy to communicate with and very helpful. The place was beautiful and very well taken care of. The lake front location was beautiful! The photos don't do it justice. We all really enoyed sitting on the porch and the dock enjoying the spectacular views! The home was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Hope to go back again!

We had a great stay! We stayed up late into the night just being together in this comfortable, fun space. Coffee in the morning with that view was fantastic.

We stayed at Anchors Away with our family in July. We loved it so much we came back to celebrate our anniversary in September. There are so many reasons to love this home.....starting with Mike and Danielle being great hosts~everything is organized and clearly communicated. The house is charming and thoughtfully decorated. It is functional in every way. We cooked or grilled each night and ate dinner on the huge porch overlooking the lake. We kayaked (with kayaks provided in their shed) each morning and ended our evening with a campfire on the lake. Rent this one! You will be so happy you did.

We absolutely loved Buena Vista Lake House. Some highlights that we loved were the lake views, the awesome deck and furniture for hanging out and eating, provided kayaks & paddleboards, fire pit, cozy living room furniture, 5-star bed and bathroom linens, squeaky-clean bathrooms and kitchen. Party & Gord were the best hosts! Attentive, helpful, friendly, & kind. HIGHLY recommend staying here. I have a feeling we’ll be back!

Can’t say enough about how wonderful this home is. Bigger than I expected. Very clean and large open rooms. Lakeside with gorgeous views. Unfortunately it rained while we were there but the home was so comfortable we enjoyed our time with friends. Definitely more than enough space for our group of 8. Also plenty of parking spaces. I would absolutely stay here again!

Thank you for our wonderful stay this weekend. Your place is the quintessential lake cottage. Everything we needed was supplied and at our fingertips, without being overrun with “stuff.” Well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. Our stay in Lodi was amazing. Beautiful view of the lake while watching tv, cooking or just playing a game. Very Peaceful. Easy to walk our dog. Love how the bedrooms are on each side of the house as well as bathrooms as to not disturb one another... beautiful.. many wineries and breweries for tastings, & most are Dog friendly too! So easy to sit back and relax! My daughter & boyfriend loved hiking and also did some golf! This was a Beautiful getaway and the host was so great and attentive. So clean and so comfy.

The house is located right by the lake with beautiful views and gorgeous sunset view. The dock looks brand new and the exterior is pristine. Inside the house, the decoration is absolutely stunning, from the pictures, fresh flowers, textiles and furniture, everything is gorgeous. We spend a couple of days as a family of four (the house fits more people, there is an entire room we did not use). It was end of April so extremely peaceful and calm. We enjoyed doing nature trails, fishing and explore the towns around the lake. Planning to be back for sure.

As described- nice place on the water great for a nice quiet getaway. I would definitely go back. Amenities are super close by and the grill and fire pit are huge adds for an awesome weekend. Some parts of the house are starting to show age a bit and some simple upgrades like bathroom doorknobs could go a long way, but the place is definitely charming and quaint!

We had a wonderful stay! The bed was super comfortable, which made for great nights of sleep, and the showers had excellent water pressure—always a plus. The view of the lake from the property was beautiful. We also really appreciated that the place was dog-friendly. Would definitely stay here again!
