This is our third stay at Sophia’s Cottage, and it was a wonderful as ever. Sophia takes great care to ensure a comfortable stay from the start. With fresh flowers and a welcome gift (nice bottle of pinot noir!), it’s a wonderful start to the stay! The kitchen is well equipped for cooking in, but the house is also in walking distance from terrific restaurants if you’d rather go out! There are lots of lovely touches around the house so your stay feels home-y. Throw blankets and pillows, nice shower gel and shampoo, teas and coffees. The beds are very comfortable, and the neighbourhood is peaceful, so good nights sleep guaranteed. It’s great to have washer and dryer and a dishwasher to make things easy. Sophia is kind and responsive, and a wonderful host. We will absolutely be back and look forward to it!

The house was perfect. Clean, neat and comfortable. So beautifully situated at the lake. The outside was wonderful. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking. A great stay!

We stayed the weekend for my bachelor party. Could not have been happier. Check in and check out were seamless. Great location right next to the beach/boardwalk. Only a short uber to most major activities. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking for a weekend away with a large group of friends/family.

House and property are immaculate. Hosts have done an amazing job bringing this property back to all its glory. House has everything you could ask for and move, would definitely recommend. Can’t wait to return!

We had a GREAT time at this location, with very few general complaints. -The TV was huge - beds where comfy -the air conditioning worked great - kitchen was gorgeous -location had everything you want for Philly (I am a Philly local) -the hot tub was clean -the house was darn near spotless Only complaints (and tbh this is nit picking!) -there is a charge for the hot tub (I feel there should only be one if you make a mess of it). Since the place was so pricey, we feel that a little much -you need to bring your own cleaning supplies (trash bags/paper towels, etc). -the tv didn’t have much in terms of streaming services/phone connection (bring a chrome cast or video game system if you want that). -water pressure wasn’t the best -it is a LITTLE loud outside at night, so be aware (not the owners fault, obviously—it’s right in center city so they’ll happen). Stunning location for a peaceful group getaway. Kitchen had everything needed to cook a group meal and more. Decor was stylish with lots of thoughtful touches. The waterfront porch was incredible. We will definitely be back!

We truly had a phenomenal Airbnb experience in Philly thanks to Marion. She and her team exceeded all expectations for my brother-in-law's birthday, surprising us with decorations and a cake. Marion's responsiveness to any issue was incredibly prompt and so helpful. She made our Philly trip unforgettable! Thank you again for making our time in Philly the best!!!🫶🏾🙌🏾🥰😘💐

Kira's place was just as advertised and exactly what we were looking for. We have family in the area and just needed a place to sleep and shower and then were pretty much gone for the day. The small studio has a comfy bed, nice bathroom with all the things, and a small coffee machine complete with coffee for morning brew. Nice quiet neighborhood. Kira was considerate of our privacy and was easy to communicate with.

Rob was a fantastic host and his place was perfect for our Christmas vacation. The space was clean, well laid out and furnished. We were able to host a brunch while also feeling cozy when on our own. Rob was very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend!
