A 200-year-old church hall, transformed into a uniquely spacious & stylish townhouse, accommodating 4 guests in comfort. Terracotta flooring throughout with underfloor heating and a solid-fuel stove. The open-plan layout consists of a fully equipped kitchen and a double-height living/dining area. The bedroom has a King-size bed (200cmx150cm) and en-suite bathroom with shower. Island View sleeps 12. It is a 6-bedroom property with amazing uninterrupted views across Roaring Water Bay, to Heir and Sherkin Islands, Baltimore and Cape Clear. Cunnamore Pier and the regular passenger ferries to Heir Island and, in the summer, Sherkin Island is a few minutes further down the road. There are beaches with safe swimming very close by as well as opportunities to moor small dinghy’s and sailing craft. Island View is a 15 minute drive from Skibbereen.

Our beautiful place is located in a central, peaceful location 10 mins by car from the village of Drimoleague on the Drimoleague Walkway. The location is ideal for touring the Mizen, Sheep's Head and Beara Peninsulas, and the Wild Atlantic Way from Kinsale to the Ring of Kerry. The Cottage is on a working dairy farm adjacent to our farm house. You will be made very welcome.
