My stay was great. It was very clean and felt cozy inside with a nice backyard for the group to hangout and enjoy the nice weather. They had spacious bedrooms, big beds and plenty of towels for showers and the hot tub. Jess & Joe were very easy to communicate with. I would recommend this place to everyone.

We absolutely loved the house and the setting. It’s in a great location and there were plenty of things to do in the area as well as just hanging out at the house. Colin was a fantastic host, had great suggestions for things to do in the area and left us a wonderful basket upon checkin with lots of goodies. We highly recommend the Shanty House! It’s a charming, unique place with tons of character, great amenities, and as I said, Colin was an engaging generous host readily available for us if we needed. Can’t wait to come back!

This is a rock solid home base for large groups. It's a real, eclectic home -- no dumb cursive neon signs or fake green walls, but instead plenty of plates, glassware, board games, and entertainment. I think the best part about it was the space. Six bedrooms and a dozen beds easily fit in this house, and with the front porch, back deck, hot tub, and yard, there was plenty of space to spread out outside, too. The neighborhood was low-key and convenient. Most of us flew in from coastal cities and were pleased with the walkability of the area, but there was plenty of parking space for those who drove, too. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Can't ask for more. Easy 5 stars.

Karen and Bryan were gracious hosts! They even left us some Derby gifts and vegan treats, going above and beyond :-) We would absolutely stay again and recommend their home for couples or a small family.

Our weekend had a record rainfall for the weekend and Harrison helped us with alternative ideas. We had a great time and the house was great for indoor fun. It is an easy drive to Bardstown and the Bardstown distilleries. We would highly recommend the Limestone Branch Distillery which is just 10 minutes from the house.

We've stayed in a number of AirBNBs and this was one of our favorite. It's a very comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated 3br 1.5ba with a ceiling fan and TV in every room. Shower has good pressure and plenty of heat. High speed fiber internet with 300mbps symmetric. Convenient location with plenty of restaurants and stores within a short drive and less than a 20 minute drive to downtown Louisville. It also has parking for up to 4 vehicles with a parking spot that backs up almost right to the front door making it convenient to load and unload. There's a Keurig coffee maker that makes a pot of coffee, or you can bring your favorite K-cups. The bedrooms only have nightstands but there's no dressers or drawers to put clothes, but plenty of hangars in the closets.

Katie and Michael’s place was amazing my wife and I stayed here doing the bourbon trail . Matched the description and the cabin was beautiful and created a space to just relax and unwind . Would highly recommend!

The air BnB was very clean and had all the amenities a family could ask for, very nice location on a beautiful secluded lot. The hot tub was one of the nicest hot tubs I’ve been in. Slate pool table kept us entertained for hours. Fully stocked kitchen was very nice has everything we need to cook breakfast in the morning. The water pressure was awesome and water got hot quickly! Overall we had a great experience and will be back in the future! I strongly recommend this Airbnb! It comfortably slept 8 people and we had a great time!

Absolute stunning house. It was great with the group of 14 people we had. Everyone had plenty of space and lots to do. The hosts were very responsive. Would definitely like to come back again.

I'm 100% recommend her place. The hot tub was absolutely amazing. her response time is so fast and she's very accommodating. next time we come through we will be staying with her again.

No surprises for what you’re getting here, nice private location, beautiful open space to hang out, bedrooms for everyone, and good distance between bourbon country and downtown Louisville

“If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine”…The Ripple Inn was an awesome cabin with a lot of the amenities of home. That comes in handy when traveling with a little one. Upon arrival check in was super easy, the place was clean, and the hot tub was ready for use. Cell service was spotty but wifi solved that problem. Gas and charcoal grills for outdoor cooking options. Great view pretty much surrounding the property. Host was responsive and very descriptive with directions, check in/out instructions, as well as with suggestions of things to do locally. “Reach out your hand, if your cup be empty” and fill it with some of the sweet nectar being made at one of the near by distilleries.

This Cabin was perfect for our family to stay for our son’s baseball tournament in Kentucky! From check in to check out, everything went great. It is the most beautiful cabin I’ve ever stayed in! The pictures are accurate but definitely don’t do it justice😉 The kitchen was fully stocked for us to be able to cook dinner and prep lunches for the baseball field! The beds were all very comfortable to get a good nights sleep. We spent most of our time at the cabin when we weren’t at baseball. Our favorite parts- Hot tub and fire pit Game room Loft living room with the most comfortable couch for movies. The beautiful outdoor cat, Buttercup. The girls loved her so much, they wanted to bring her home😂❤️ Josh and Kimberly were the best hosts. Great communication. They left little snacks for us with our unexpected late check in. I couldn’t recommend this cabin enough. If we’re ever in the area, we will definitely book with them again!☺️ Ps-Watch your head on the car port if you’re tall?
