Welcome to our fully sustainable non-toxic waterfront home on the great Mississippi River! Bring the whole family, including your dogs. We welcome well supervised children (strict due to the proximity of the water) and we welcome dogs of all sizes. We have converted this house to a self-sustaining home with solar panels and a heat pump. All linens and towels are organic and all cleaning products are safe and non-toxic. We provide biodegradable/cruelty-free bath products for guest use.

Auggie's River Home

This 2017 built home overlooks the beautiful Mississippi River. It is located 15 minutes from La Crosse WI, 15 miles from New Albin, and 27 miles from Lansing, IA. It is within a mile distance from a boat launch and about 3 miles of a public boat launch away Wild Cat Campground. This area is host to whitetail deer, wild turkeys, bass, northern pike, walleye, and various pan fish. Our home is right on the Mississippi River Trail for bike riders. (It is only available in summers.)

Available year round. Perfect for a family get away or for hunters and fishermen. Full kitchen, 2 tables set up for eating. We are on The Mighty Mississippi River. Your backyard. You can sit on your porch, shade deck, sun deck or walk out to the dock and enjoy your morning brew. In the evening you can sit out on the dock and view a beautiful sunset. Eagles are visitors to the area, as well as Great Blue Herons, river otters, muskrats, and varieties of ducks. This is truly a place for those who love to be on water. When the day is done come in to your home away from home. (Cleaning fees included.)
