Tolle Unterkunft am Stadtrand von Gent. Super Möglichkeit von dem Haus aus Gent und andere Orte in der Nähe zu erkunden. Wir waren mit 6 Personen im Haus und haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Alles war sauber und wir hatten die Möglichkeit uns frei zu entfalten. Ein besonderes Highlight war der Pool und der Keller mit Spieleraum und großer Leinwand. Stijn hat sich als toller Gastgeber gezeigt, da er immer ansprechbar war und uns gute Tipps gegeben hat.

Très chouette logement particulièrement bien adapté aux enfants. Le jardin était très agréable et sécurisé. Beaucoup d'activités pour enfants aux alentours. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Diederik et Isabelle. Très serviables et ils veillaient à répondre à toutes nos demandes. Merci pour ces belles vacances

Wir hatten mit 6 Leuten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt hier. Der Gastgeber war sehr gut zu erreichen und hat schnell auf Fragen reagiert. Er hat uns vor Ort eine kurze Einweisung für das Haus und für den beheizten Pool gegeben und uns Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung gegeben. Das Haus sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern und ist sehr sauber - also alles top hier 👍🏼

Prachtige locatie met een mooi uitzicht over de weilanden. Gent en Brugge om de hoek. Perfecte uitvalsbasis om lekker te genieten. Daniel en Nathalie reageren ook snel op berichten. Absolute aanrader.

Dear Sylvia, Thank you very much for having us! We had a great stay! The house is super cozy and is really inviting to hang around and to spend time together. We used it as base to visit the surrounding citys Antwerpen, Brüssell and Gent and it was wonderful to come home to a cozy spacoius place with great cooking equipment. The only thing we wished we had known before is that the pool is more like a pond and if you dont mind sharing the space with some of the fish then this will be no problem. But other than that Sylvia and Peter were wonderful hosts and assisted us with any questions immediately. Thank you for your kind hospitality!

Wat een fantastische tijd hebben wij gehad in deze vakantiewoning! Met ons gezin van 8 volwassenen en 5 kinderen (waaronder 2 baby’s) was het puur genieten. Er was echt aan alles gedacht: van ontspannen in de sauna of massagestoel tot samen badmintonnen in de tuin, vervelen was simpelweg geen optie. Het zwembad was een absoluut hoogtepunt: heerlijk warm voor de tijd van het jaar (mei) en bovendien kraaknet. We hebben er met z’n allen volop van genoten, groot én klein. De woning was het perfecte uitgangspunt voor onze uitstap naar Pairi Daiza, dat op ongeveer een uurtje rijden ligt. We sliepen met de ramen open vanwege het warme weer, en dan hoorde je soms wel verkeer voorbijrazen, even wennen, maar zeker geen domper op de pret. Alles was keurig netjes en we voelden ons meteen welkom. Kortom: een heerlijk verblijf vol comfort, ontspanning en plezier. Een echte aanrader voor gezinnen of groepen die samen willen genieten. Hartelijk bedankt voor deze onvergetelijke ervaring!

This was a little piece of heaven for our family get away. Well equipped with everything you need and more. Tastefully decorated and a place to recharge your batteries. The indoor pool was such a win and a perfect way to start and end the day off. The barbeque right next to the river was tranquil. Beautiful scenery. Karen was a brilliant host...highly recommend!

Danielle was a very kind and friendly host who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Her beautiful detached house was perfect for our stay—spacious, clean, and surrounded by a lovely garden, making it ideal for families. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, yet conveniently close to a supermarket and other essentials. We appreciated how easy it was to access everything we needed. Danielle was always available, responsive, and went out of her way to ensure we had a great experience. Her hospitality truly made a difference! We highly recommend this place and would happily stay here again. Thank you, Danielle, for such a pleasant stay!

Andre did an incredible job of hosting me while I was on a short-term work assignment. He was always responsive, made me feel like I had someone to reach out to during my stay and kept me well informed! Thank you for the beautiful stay, I look forward to staying again if I come back!

mooie, grote gezamenlijke keuken en living. De slaapvertrekken waren niet overdreven luxe, maar functioneerden prima. De bedmatrassen sliepen heerlijk. En vooral tof met kleine kinderen want als je deur uit stapt ben je meteen in een uitgebreide speeltuin. EN vele mooie Zeeuwse plaatsen als Domburg, Veere en Zoutelanden zijn in de directe omgeving. TOP

Wij kwamen hier voor de 2e en het voelde als thuiskomen! Het huis is heerlijk ruim, schoon en gezellig. En alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig! Monique is een fijne en gezellige gastvrouw en reageert snel bij vragen en is er voor je als je haar nodig hebt. Ook voor de honden is het een heerlijke omgeven, je kunt vanuit het huis via de weilanden heerlijk naar het park wandelen. Kortom wij hebben weer heel erg genoten van deze plek en de omgeving. Wij gaan zeker weer heen!

I would highly recommend this place to anyone. There are endless reason why this is the best place to stay, especially with large groups of people. Veey cozy, welcoming home with all the essentials and then some. There are several floors to the house with a lot of stairs so make sure if you rent you are able to manage.

Das Haus von Joke ist ganz wunderbar. Es ist einzigartig eingerichtet mit liebevollen und künstlerischen Details. Es gibt in jeder Ecke etwas schönes zu entdecken. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist auch perfekt, denn mit dem Auto ist man schnell (10 min) bei dem Tunnel, mit dem man zu Fuß an das andere Ufer der Schelde gelangt, dann ist man schon mitten im Zentrum von Antwerpen. In der Straße von Jokes Haus gibt es zahlreiche kostenlose Parkplätze. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

Met de kerst met de familie en paar dagen verbleven in het huisje van Madeleine. Erg netjes en precies zo omschreven als op de site.Van alle gemakken voorzien.Prive parkeren recht tegenover het huis.winkels op loopafstand. Centrum Antwerpen 15 minuten met de tram is sneller dan de auto.Madeleine wachte al op ons bij aankomst om een korte uitleg tegeven en de sleutels te overhandigen. Echt genoten bedden waren uitstekend. Er is zelfs Netflix aanwezig. Geen 5 sterren maar 10 sterren.Tip aan het einde van de straat een bakkerijtje met heerlijk vers stokbrood. Dus mocht je naar België willen zeker een aanrader. (Eén tevreden gast)

We zijn erg vriendelijk ontvangen door de overbuurvrouw (Petra) die een rondje met ons door het huis maakte. Het huis is helemaal schoon en opgeruimd. De grote tuin was een juweeltje voor onze hond. De eerste avond hebben we gebruik gemaakt van de BBQ en hebben we lekker buiten gegeten. Binnen is het erg huiselijk en voel je je al snel thuis. Veel met de hond gewandeld in de buurt, de dijk bij het watersnoodmonument was wel ons favoriete plek om te lopen. De bedden sliepen lekker en de badkamer is klein maar fijn. Heerlijk ook dat er een bakker is op 3 minuten lopen. Al met al zouden we zo nog een keer dit huis huren! Een echte aanrader.

We had a lovely stay at the house, it is beautifully furnished and appointed with great taste. There was everything we could possibly need for our stay. It is conveniently located, not too close to the city centre but only a very short walk from Abbaye tram stop which goes straight to the centre, or to change trams and go to the European quarter. There is a supermarket close by as well, and park areas to walk around. The house is quiet and comfortable, and provides plenty for space for a family or group, provided you don't mind stairs! It would have been fascinating to have had some information provided on the history of the building and neighbouring properties, as I am sure it has quite a story to tell. Many thanks, Alexandra!

This cosy house in the glowing landscape was a great getaway and perfect to enjoy some quite time with friends or family. We had everything we needed, including a fireplace, well stocked kitchen and a great yard with BBQ and hot tub. The surroundings are very beautiful and you can enjoy them from the couch inside. The only thing I would improve is the kitchen, we felt like a lot of materials were old or not available.

Hele vriendelijke en duidelijke communicatie. Ruim huis en alles prima in orde.

Maria was the most helpful and responsive host. She answered all my questions beforehand and even during the stay. The house is clean, spacious with lots of natural light. It had the perfect bedroom distribution for our mixed group of 8 friends with a baby (2x double bedrooms upstairs + the top floor loft-room with 6 sleeping spaces). We cooked dinner in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoyed it inside and in the nice garden. It was great to have a free parking spot in front of the house and an e-charging station available at walking distance. Regarding privacy it’s important to note that the garden is connected with the next door neighbors, but we saw them only once. For the first night, we were surprised that Maria and Bart stayed in the small annex-apartment at the end of the garden but we also didn’t see or hear them at all. The house is full of personal items, which gives an intimate touch. Overall, we felt very welcome and taken care of. I recommend without hesitation!
