Unfortunately, my stay was less than 24 hours as I was in the area for a friends event but the accommodation was good and had everything I needed. It was clean and well equipped. Sandra was a friendly and responsive host. The village is very pretty with a very inviting looking pub! I wish I could have stayed longer.

Lo chalet di Thelma è immerso in un fantastico giardino fiorito, pulito e ordinato. All'interno la cura e l'attenzione in ogni stanza ad ogni singolo dettaglio fa la differenza. Thelma è stata molto gentile e attiva, pronta a rispondere ad ogni domanda. È stato un bellissimo soggiorno e ci torneremo sicuramente. Altamente consigliato!

Lo que más nos gustó ha sido a ubicación de la casa, en plena campiña inglesa. Sitio muy tranquilo y de maravillosa naturaleza. La casa era acogedora. Suzanne ha sido muy amable y muy comunicativa.

We had a very relaxing stay, whilst there was a variety of restaurants nearby and beautiful scenery we chose to stay in most of the time in the cosy loft. A great nook to binge movies and play games with friends by the fire. Lovely hosts and pictures provided of the propery are very accurate. 100% recommend for a chill weekend and 100% stay again.

Lovely faultless experience. Spotlessly clean, comfortable furniture. Big TV, well equipped kitchen. Loaf of bread, milk, butter and jams provided and even a box of After Eights. Sadly I had brought everything as I didn’t expect these to be provided but a lovely touch. Off street parking in a quiet sleepy village. Can highly recommend.

Brilliant location, homely feel and a host that couldn’t have provided for us. From a complimentary breakfast selection of pasty’s, eggs and cereals to a written booklet of places to eat / drink / party in the evening only in a less then 10 minute taxi drive away. Beautiful surrounding scenery with friendly local pubs… Can’t recommend enough.

Lovely flat! Looks exactly like in the photos. And the host was very helpful. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

This is our 4th time staying at Lawrence. Such a great place. Will come back!!

Put simply Nigel's place is just amazing... everything was as described/looked in the pics and beyond. Comms with Nigel were brilliant...there was no stone on turned to say the least. The treats that Nigel left us were first class and a really nice thoughtful touch... would really love to know where the grapes were from?... actually delicious... we will be back for sure... Thanks Nigel :}

Wonderfully peaceful space. Secluded by the lake with wildlife all around. Hosts were very friendly, kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need, everything was pristine and the bed was exceptionally comfy. Really hope to be back!

Lovely, very well equipped accommodation, with everything of excellent quality. Extremely dog friendly- Sally even provides a sheet to allow fur babies to sleep on the bed which ours does, with easy access to the secure garden. We spent a very comfortable 4 days and would return.

We had a great stay for the weekend! Claire was very welcoming & had stocked the fridge for us which was hugely appreciated after a long drive. There was even homemade cake which was delicious! The property was clean & the bed(s) were comfortable. The cottage is lovely & peaceful, and the public footpaths around the woods next door were stunning…bluebells everywhere! The property was perfect for what we needed. Thanks for having us!

Great place for me had everything listed and Leor was great. Alway there to help but that wasn't required as everything was working fine.

Caroline's place is a gem. It's tucked away, and surrounded by a small private garden so that it feels very secluded and, other than the unavoidable distant hum of the A1(M) when you're outside, it's very quiet. It is comfortable, well equipped and a pleasant environment to spend time in, both indoors and out (the garden egg chair was a particularly delightful touch!). There's easy access to a network of decent footpaths. Caroline was responsive, helpful and friendly. I will seriously consider going back!

Great communication, Andrew responded immediately and was very friendly and accommodating. Directions were very clear and we found The Duck House easily in day light. Andrew met us on arrival offering assistant at anytime throughout our stay. Walking into the accommodation we knew we had chosen well, what a great little find. Everything was very clean and organised and finished to a very high standard and with all that we needed and more. The welcome pack was a very nice touch and meant I didn't need to pack anything from home (apart from conditioner) There is a main chain Superstore 8 minute drive away which houses a coffee shop and pharmacy and it was a 25minute drive to Redbridge Park and Ride to visit wonderful Oxford. We would definitely stay again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends. Thank you so much Andrew & Hilary.

Christina’s place is a great place to stay, the bed is really comfy and bathroom is lovely and was all super clean. Also never stayed at any Airbnb with such a generous offering of confectionary and breakfast options. Thank you!

wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful. the cottage is located in their backyard and you both have complete privacy as well as use of the garden. i was made to feel very mucg at home and had wonderful exchanges with Brenda, who was the only there at the time I was living there. I can highly recommend it, a bit outside Oxford city but there is a bus nearbu going straight to town

Contacted Mark to ask about dinner at the local pub on our first night as we were concerned about getting there on time with our journey time. He very kindly went into the pub and arranged a booking for us with a 30 minute arrival time (in case of delays). He was there to meet us and showed us round and was extremely helpful and friendly . Although we only stayed overnight to break up a long journey, he made us feel very welcome and I would always recommend his place to anyone.

Karen's place is a perfect hideaway. Comfortable bed with quality bedding (cotton duvet/ down comforter & pillows). Quiet at night, window opens to allow a fresh breeze, birds singing in the morning!

This was our second stay at Angie and Steve’s gem of a cottage. It was just as good as our first stay. Everything is in tip top working order and the thoughtful touches from the host were appreciated. Will be back to stay again when visiting the Cambridge area.

Perfect place for our overnight stay. Lindsay welcomed us with perfect balance between being informative/helpful without being intrusive. We felt at home straight away. The place was spotless and beds very clean and comfortable. The beer to chill on the balcony in the evening and coffee bags to help me wake up for our early start in the morning were all welcome. Would stay again if in the area.

A peaceful location in the center of Histon. My 2nd stay at Beck’s place; a warm, friendly home from home. She is always available if you have questions or need assistance.
