This place was great. Charming cozy little spot close to good food and the lake.

Alissa was so great to communicate with! She was responsive and even offered an earlier check in which was perfect for us. Place was exactly as pictured and fit our needs perfectly. So nice but not too nice where you feel you can’t touch anything. Literally felt like home. Perfect for our family Christmas weekend get together!

My family & I had a magical winter getaway here! Our 4 & 6 year old have already requested that we come back in the summer! Kirby was so kind and left 2 sleds for us to use, & even some extra snowpants should we need them! We enjoyed sledding down the hill, walking out to the frozen lake, sitting by the woodburning stove watching the snow fall, & snuggling by the fireplace inside. It is so spacious w/ plenty of room for all! Our kiddos loved their bunkbed room, & enjoyed playing w/ the Legos & video games that were provided! We all enjoyed the huge jacuzzi tub & utilized it as much as we could throughout our stay, as it was the best way to warm up after a cold day out! The igloo on the deck added so much magic, & with the heater inside it, we were able to utilize it even when the temps were in the single digits! We loved snuggling in there while the snow fell! It felt like our own personal snow globe! My husband & I explore a lot of cabins, & he said this was his new favorite stay!

Worked great for our short stay of 3 nights, would love to come back in the summer!!

This cottage is so cute and comfortable. The location on the lake was perfect and it had everything the two of us could have wanted. Dan was quick to reply to every question we had. He and Kristen anticipated any traveler's needs and exceeded them. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely cottage with us!

I would highly recommend staying here!! As some one who travels often i found that this was the best stocked Airbnb I've stayed at. All the important items needed to cook your own meal, ability to wash clothes, stay warm and grab an extra pillow to relax were all available. The host thought of everything! We will be back if she is not booked up first! Don't pass this one up!

Lovely home with beautiful view of the lake. Even saw bald eagles on our last morning. Very clean. Well equipped kitchen. Great place to gather with our family. We liked the fireplaces and indoor games (darts and pool).

Scott was friendly, responsive, and accommodating. It was a bit cold when we went so we didn’t swim at all. We did have a great time kayaking. House was very cozy. The kitchen has most of the basics but would recommend more seasonings (garlic powder, onion powder, etc) and possibly a bigger pot for boiling pasta. Chetek is a great city, some cool artisan shops/antique places, good bars. The folks in town were noticeably friendly. It’s a bit of a drive, but would strongly recommend the Enchanted Barn: amazing pizza, good drinks, good atmosphere, live music if you’re into that. Overall great visit, great host, great place, and great city.

My group of friends and I booked our spring getaway here and loved how secluded the location of the main house is. Also super cool to drive into the High Valley Ranch. So nice to be able to just grab a kayak and go for a paddle too.
