Great for snowmobilers, about 1-2 blocks from direct access to trail 14 - no need to trailer. Room to park trailer and sleds. Close to fuel stop. Restaurants within walking distance, or off trail. Nice cozy and clean place, more room than typical hotel room with kitchen amenities.

We had a great stay! The unit was very clean and Ryan communicated quickly! Very close to trails and a lake, which was great for walking and running! Also, only 10 minutes to MI Texh!

My husband and I needed a last minute place to stay over the past weekend. We wanted to stay in the L’Anise area, since we have a friend that lives in the town, and this was the best option. The unit is clean, has an amazing view of Lake Superior and is very spacious. I was very impressed with the unit overall. I would gladly book again!

I am grateful to have stayed in such an amazing place, with my dog, Jax! The host was very responsive and instructions were clear and to the point. It is a very relaxing and quiet area as well, and my dog enjoyed drinking from Lake Superior with ease. We enjoyed our stay. The home had everything we needed and lots of entertainment when our grandchildren visited. We definitely felt right at home. The views were wonderful, we even had some deer and wild turkeys visit the yard. We look forward to booking again in the future.

It was a wonderful place to visit. The house felt very welcoming, and everything you could think of that you'd need was available to you. 10/10 would recommend this to others. We also plan to rebook here to explore more of what the UP has to offer! The host was so kind and responsive! Can't say enough good things about our stay.

We had a lovely time in the UP, we enjoyed access to a full kitchen, ample space, and the sauna made us feel like real “yupers” after a full day of skiing.

We had a truly memorable stay at this Airbnb! The view was absolutely stunning, and the sauna was such a relaxing bonus—it quickly became one of our favorite parts of the trip. What really made this experience stand out, though, was the host, Mathew. When our car unexpectedly broke down , he went above and beyond to help. He sent us a ton of helpful local resources and even had his handyman come by to check in and make sure we were okay. That kind of care and attentiveness is rare and made us feel so supported and looked after. The place was clean, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We felt completely at ease and truly appreciated the kindness and hospitality we were shown. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was exactly as pictured. One of the few stays where I was able to cook breakfasts and dinners and had everything I needed. The main family room with the fireplace was cozy and relaxing. We typically chose the places we stay for the sauna and this one was one of the best. It heated up quickly and steamed well. The lake view was amazing with peak color and close to fun outdoorsy things we love when in the UP.

We spent a few restful nights at Barbra's cottage while moving our freshman to Michigan Tech, which is about 30 minutes away. It was a beautiful setting. The lake is so quiet and pretty. The house had everything we needed. The communication with the host deserves an extra shout-out. Very responsive and friendly. I am sure we will be making more trips to the area and would love to come back.

We had an amazing stay at The Barefoot Lodge. The views were spectacular! Super-easy access to the water from the shore or the dock. The cottage was exactly as pictured. We felt very comfortable the entire visit. There was everything we needed for the week in the kitchen. Any questions we had while we were there were immediately responded to. We saw bald eagles, family of deer and wild turkeys from the yard! We didn't want to leave. We would definitely recommend The Barefoot Lodge.

The house was clean, and in a covenant location. The views were beautiful. The house comfortably slept our 8 guests. Perfect winter get away.
