We had a lovely stay and felt very safe. The house was lovely and spacious. Very comfortable beds and very quiet. The house was clean and we had everything we needed. Blathnaid was a great host and responded to a question from us within minutes.

We had a wonderful experience at Starling Cottage. The property and the setting is something special. Everything was exactly as described and more. It was the perfect retreat in beautiful & peaceful surroundings, with everything you need. Chris is a wonderful host; very friendly, helpful & welcoming, yet respectful of your privacy. We stayed as a family of four, would highly recommended and hope to return!

Un petit atelier tout en vous sculpté dans un magnifique coin de nature. Des hôtes très discrets, très prévenants (merci pour le pain, les roses…) et très disponibles si vous avez besoin d’eux. Merci beaucoup !

Our stay in Wren Cottage was truly the most luxurious and relaxing experience. It’s the perfect place for a cosy couple retreat. Naomi kindly checked us in and showed us around. The location was extremely private. We made full use of the sauna and pool many times, and had it to ourselves each time. Just a short preheat needed for the sauna and it’s ready to use. We’d recommend bringing slippers/sandals and a robe for walking across the yard to the spa. Fold-out sofa bed is more comfortable and spacious than it looks. Wren Cottage is small but is beautifully furnished and has everything you’ll need. Both the Smart TV and Bluetooth speaker were a huge bonus. We had the most wonderful time and will definitely be back!

Casa muy bonita, espaciosa y cómoda. En cuanto a limpieza, estaba perfecta, también tenía todas las comodidades necesarias. La anfitriona ha sido muy amable, así como atenta durante la estancia y con las indicaciones. Repetiríamos sin duda.

We really enjoyed our stay at Anne & Gerry’s place. It accommodated our group of 7 adults with ease. Anne made us feel very welcome and was quick to respond to any queries. The location is fabulous, walking distance to beach and 15min to 20 min walk to the beautiful village of Rosscarbery. I would highly recommend Anne & Gerry’s place. Thanks again Anne

from start to finish could not complain house was everything you needed for a few days away super clean and everything as listed so close to everything pubs food and shops host was 100% to deal with would highly recommend and will be staying again when down that way

On arrival we found a beautiful basket filled with little treats and a bottle of red. The fridge had milk eggs and bread. The instructions where to find things were super clear and the entire house was spotless. Lovely people to communicate with. Would highly recommend this house. Thank you for allowing us to rent it.

Perfect location for exploring Clonakilty and surrounding area. Supermarket round the corner, beautiful bakery 2 minutes away and 5 minutes walk from the main street. Clean and exactly as per the photos. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 toddlers, the size was perfect and we had plenty room. Small courtyard out the back was great for the kids, fully contained. Off the main road so no noise issues and has it's own parking space, neighbours were also very friendly.

Johns home is wonderful and the perfect place to stay when visiting Cork. I've been visiting Cork for years and this is an ideal location to dip in and out of town. Its cosy, welcoming and John's communication throughout our stay was brilliant. We'll definitely be back, many thanks!

This is a beautiful house with a real family feel. It’s a stones throw from the town of Clonakilty and is in a very peaceful setting. It’s great for families and the facilities are fantastic. There is everything you need and a lovely garden in the sunshine. Definitely recommend and would stay again . Fabulous .

Vicent è stato un Host molto accogliente e molto premuroso. La casa è veramente splendida e gode di un panorama meraviglioso. Ogni parte della casa è curata in tutti i particolari ed è molto comoda. Un soggiorno in questo posto stupendo e’ veramente l’ideale per chiunque cerchi di rilassarsi e staccare dallo stress degli impegni quotidiani.

A great weekend in Emer's house. It was perfect for a large family get together which fitted us easily with the 5 bedrooms. House was very clean and great heating as it was cold outside during our stay. Emer was a great host. All instructions sent were easy to follow and no fuss with any of our requests made. Great location to with short walk to the town

Lovely townhouse, fairly quiet, within walking distance of most highlights of Cork City. It is up a hill, though! Elaine sent some great videos/instructions for helpful things like how to lock the doors and work the dishwasher. Plenty of space for our family of 6, and our boys really enjoyed the trampoline! Thanks, Elaine, for a great place to stay during our trip!

Una casa con muchas posibilidades para estar en familia, una zona muy tranquila y muy bonita, pero a la vez a unos 3 km. un pueblo con todo lo necesario, tiendas, restaurantes... Skibbereen. Bernadette desde el primer momento comprobando si todo iba bien o había algún problema. Lo único que yo recomendaría, sobre todo a los que no estamos acostumbrados a conducir con el volante a la derecha es si viajas desde Cork, poner en *maps Google" la dirección del pueblo de Skibbereen y una vez esten en dicho pueblo, poner en "maps Google" la dirección de la casa que solo está a unos 3 km. aprox. El trayecto es un poco más largo pero las carreteras son bastante mejores.

I think our best holiday ever. Unforgettable stay in a one-in-a-million home from home. The house, built by talented carpenter Simon, stands on a small plot 5 minutes from Ballydehob. It's bigger and more beautiful than it looks in the listing. Cosy, too. We were surrounded by nature - wrens woke us at dawn, bats flittered by at dusk, and the beautiful sky changed constantly above us. It was so quiet my husband couldn't sleep the first night, but after that we slept like babies and felt rejuvenated after just a week in this stunning place. There are endless wonderful places to visit within 30 minutes' drive, but if you're like us you'll head home each evening a little earlier than you feel you should, and hunker down joyfully in this very special haven of peace and tranquillity. Thank you to Simon for being helpful and available but completely unobtrusive. We can't wait to go back.
