Cozy Country cabin Jr is overlooking the water in a serene and peaceful setting, take your coffee out on the deck and enjoy the wildlife.Catch and release fishing is permitted and there is a paddle boat and a v bottom available, in the summer there is swimming and You will be renting the entire cabin but the pond will be shared by tenants if the large cabin is booked.The pond is approximately 2 3/4 acres so there is lots of space,our grandchildren have permission to swim there in the summertime

Cozy 2 bedroom home is located directly on the Kokosing river thought to translate from the Algonquin Indians and mean “River of the Little Owls.” The cabin is a short distance to Kenyon College, Apple Valley lake, Ohio Amish country and tons and tons of great parks, hiking trails, bike trails and hunting. We are pet friendly, dogs only. ($50 per stay, maximum 2 dogs).

TWO large bunkrooms, arcade/game room, expansive lake views, swimming dock, 7-person hot tub, and direct lake access for AVPOA property owners will make memories to last a lifetime. HOT TUB NOTE: A new hot tub was added to this property in late-September 2025. Existing bookings may have seen an outdoor couch in its place initially when booking.
