Perfect getaway from the city in the middle of a coffee plantation. I’d definitely visit again. Serene and calm. The hosts were super proactive and gave us all instructions. They also were prompt to respond to any questions. Special shoutout to Shanthi, who took care of all our meals and made sure our stay was pleasant. Highly recommend this place and the local food was definitely one of the highlights. The other caretakers at the estate also made our stay super memorable.

My stay at docs was beautiful. Kerala is the most peaceful, quiet… magical would be the best word to use… place i have ever went. Docs space is full of everything you need for a real Kerala experience. You have the ocean and back waters 1 minute walking from you. It is a lovely place for listening to the rain with a cup of tea…. Going for a swim, relaxing to the sounds of mantras from the village. It is on an island so there are no car, music, sounds from a village or city. Is in not touched with any touristy places. You feel at home with Kerala’s warm energy, people asked me to come in their homes for tea and food- gave me sweets. Kerala is part of the reason I fell in love with india in my travels- Kerala’s people have the most beautiful hearts/souls. The food is on a different level, home made curries, sweets, amazing choices of vegetables, meats, seafood. What made it the most special for me. Doc is there for you for everything you need, wish for and more. What a beautiful time 🌸

We had the honor to meet a great couple, who hosted us like family. We enjoyed Shoba's cooking thoroughly and Sahil's great stories and heart to heart conversation kept us engaged and entertained throughout our stay. Extremely warm people and very hospitable hosts. The property was beautiful and we made the most of the river to go canoeing everyday. We strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for some quiet time in nature and away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

I had a wonderful stay for two days! The house was spotlessly clean, and the view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking – a perfect spot to relax. The owner was incredibly helpful and made sure everything was taken care of. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway!

Being an avid traveller both domestic and international, it's heartening to check into a place that is exactly what you see in the pictures. Everything you see is exactly what you get. Must mention the high quality linen , towels and absolutely clean washroom. Kitchen utensils were brand new . Overall highly recommended. Jabir was most helpful, polite and fantastic host.

Our stay was amazing! Dechu is caring and a sweet host. She took care of everything and you can always ask her for anything you need to. We felt right at home :) Great individual to talk to and learn about too!

This place is peaceful and beautiful. If you are looking to spend sometime with nature, this is the place. I went there with my husband and my toddler. We spend such good time in the garden. Had a quiet quality time with my family. The house was well organised with all necessities including kitchen accessories. Washrooms were clean, bedrooms had sufficient light and the garden was beautiful. Will visit again :) Thanks a lot to Ayoob and Ahmed for being so approachable and helpful.

We stayed in pepperberry hills Homestay in Hegla for 4 days. We were a group of 4 people, and we had a very pleasant stay and felt very much at home. The homestay is located at a beautiful coffee estate, with lots of open spaces. Perfectly suited for a large group, and very comfortable if planning with family.The rooms were very clean, and was spacious overall. There were lot of common places (living room, open dining area) for spending time as a group. The host, Sidharth was very friendly and accommodative. He was always easily reachable.The estate walk was so refreshing in the morning and worth the price.. Special thanks to shalini who is the cook and the house-help. She was extremely sweet, and provided us with wonderful breakfast with lots of love. Thank you Sidharth. Would refer your place to friends too.
