Excellent views from our cheerful house by the sea

Our quaint, cosy house in Ferryden offers a wonderful holiday or short break experience for 2/3 people. The views from the house are stunning, ideally located just 15 steps from a small beach, or a short walk to the lighthouse. There's a village pub closeby, a good bus service and only a 20 -30 minute walk to Montrose where you'll find excellent restaurants and pubs, cinema, and a train station. There are so many things to do in the area including walking, fishing, photography, bird watching.

The Old Farm Bothy at Middleton

A cosy hideaway for two in a beautiful scenic spot on a working hill farm at the foot of the Angus Glens. In traditional bothy style, the bed and living/dining area are in one room, with a separate galley kitchen and shower room. With a wood burning stove, small enclosed garden with panoramic views and easy walks from the door, it’s an ideal place to switch off with fresh air and a good book. Birnie Cottage is a self catering property which has its own hedged, private garden, an open fire and woodland walks, and is situated on the A926, roughly half way between Kirriemuir in Angus, and Blairgowrie in Perthshire - an ideal location for touring both of these beautiful counties and beyond. Birnie has no additional fees, is very dog friendly and your pets stay free of charge. The cottage also has its own social media page to keep you up to date with what to do and where to eat locally.
