Vintage 1857 cottage is gem and stepping through the front door was eye-popping! Cozy, charming, and historic describes the space perfectly. The kitchen is fully set up for cooking with every possible amenity. Both beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was well-stocked, and we felt at home right away. On request, Rebecca set up a lovely welcome bottle of champagne for our celebration and supplied a few breakfast items for the morning. Outstanding service and communication! The tiny, historic town of Amador City is adorable with a few quaint restaurants, cute shops, a small museum, and near hiking trails. A perfect location from which to visit the string of historic gold mining towns along highway 49. Would love to stay again! Thank you, Rebecca!

We had the best stay! Trevor’s place was so peaceful and well cared for. Trevor was a responsive & extremely helpful host. The cherry on top was spending time with Gracie & Luna, Trevor’s two very sweet dogs. Thank you for everything and we cannot wait to return!

We had a great stay. It was very spacious and everything needed was provided to make it comfortable. The location is wonderful with options to walk down the road into town, a quick drive to Sutter Creek, as well as great wine tasting in Amador County. The host was nice and provided all the information needed for check in and out before arrival.

Elsies little basement apartment was just what we needed for a quick work trip in the area.

Our favorite cabin! We had an amazing and relaxing stay at Regina's cabin! The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The cabin itself was absolutely beautiful, both inside and out, and very spacious. Our family especially loved the jacuzzi and air hockey table! The second living room added to the fun, and the fast WiFi was a great bonus. The downstairs shower was a favorite, and we enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen as well as BBQing in the outdoor kitchen. The backyard had just enough snow for some sledding, which made our stay even more memorable. We can’t wait to come back!

My family and I have been lucky to travel a lot during the past several years and I have to report that Sally's house was the most comfortable and most interestingly decorated vacation rental we've ever encountered. Truly a special place, with the rushing Sutter Creek right outside the back yard. The weather turned cold during our week's stay, and the furnace was remarkably fast in warming up the entire 2 floors. The room I loved the most is the black and white kitchen, kind of like being in a French cafe, with lots of room and lots of light. The house is a 2 minute walk to Main Street in Sutter Creek, a street full of restaurants, unique shops and antique stores, restaurants, cafes and bars, making for a relaxing, walkable vacation without having to drive and park the car. Sally told us the house was built in 1870, and much of the decor harks back to older, gentler times, making it the perfect place to stay when exploring California's historic Gold Country.

Thank you Laurie for opening your home to us. We do a lot of cooking & the kitchen was fully supplied, way more than the average Airbnb. It really felt like home. We enjoyed the open space setup for our family & 3 dogs. Thank you!!

We had a great stay. The house was easy to find and very welcoming. Great restraunts in walking distance. Enjoyed the outdoor space, the koi pond was relaxing along with the fire pit and my son loved playing corn hole. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our second time to stay here, what a beautiful spot. We enjoyed it immensely. There was a temporary issue with the water pressure to the toilets and Mike was very responsive to the situation and it was addressed immediately. We look forward to coming back!

Easy to walk to downtown. Off a busier road, but the property is well set of from the road. Would rent again if going back to visit the area!
