We enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with both dinnerware and appliances. The family friendly amenities were a plus (pool table, jacuzzi, and PacMan). The location was quiet yet convenient to the town and lake.

My boyfriend, sister, brother-in-law and I had a great stay, and I would definitely book this Airbnb again! We stayed for 2 nights for our snowboarding/skiing trip in Lake Tahoe. The home was cozy and clean, just like the pictures. I felt like it was plenty spacious for 4 people. The instructions to check in and out were easy. Thank you for a great stay!

Comfortable and clean home to spend time in a beautiful place. Kitchen and baths were stocked nicely and we all felt at home in the space. We really enjoyed our stay!

Stayed at Burt’s place while attending a herding trial in Gardnerville with our dogs. The place was perfect! It was so peaceful and quiet. Kitchen was well stocked and a joy to cook in. The dogs enjoyed the yard. Beds were super comfortable, locals were very nice. The restaurant next door, Stonefly, is pricey but the food and ambiance is excellent. We will definitely be back again!

A fine and pleasant stay at a cozy cabin in the woods. Clear instructions for check-in and check-out. Good communication with the host. Comfortable beds. Tankless water heater means hot water doesn't run out even if everyone returns from a hike and showers before jumping in the spa. High ceilings add an elegant touch. The upstairs gets hot during the summer but the handy provided fans fit into upstairs windows and the house cools quickly. All kitchen cabinets and drawers are full of dishes, pans, utensils, appliances, implements, etc. leaving almost no pantry-room. I was tempted to re-distribute items in drawers and cabinets to make room for grocery and pantry items I had brought, but instead just used counter-space. TVs upstairs and downstairs with clear instructions. Good WiFi. Would certainly stay again.

The place was exactly as described in the listing. The host provided many resources to read and learn about the place, prior to arrival and also during our stay. Consummate professionals! The home is located in a quiet neighborhood right across a small street, behind some homes from the upper Truckee river. The hike or walk along the river was beautiful.

Really enjoyed staying at Melissa's house. It feels much more like an authentic cabin that would be owned by a family as opposed to one of these cheap flips you see so frequently now on Airbnb. The hot tub was amazing and we had everything we needed. Melissa was quick to address any issues that arose during our stay and answer questions. Would highly recommend.

We had the best time/ getaway! This cabin is very cozy, we even woke up to snow one morning! And the host was very responsive and so helpful!

We fell in love with Ed’s place instantly! My dog enjoyed exploring the open yard and I felt right at home, because the special care Ed puts into his house is obvious the moment you walk in. Fav features of this spacious and spotless home were abundance of natural light, live plants, modern and sushi-inspired art, comfy bed, cozy couch, office space in the loft, and jacuzzi with views. Ed is a great host with prompt replies to questions. Highly recommend staying here and would be more than happy to return.

Private, cozy, and plenty of amenities. Check in was very easy. Only a few minutes from the lake on the south side. Pet friendly with a shared backyard space that our dog loved!

This is it, an iconic Sierra Nevada cabin, well loved and in a beautiful area. You really don't have to get back into your car if you don't want to (but if you do, boy are you near some beautiful scenery and hikes). Nice bathroom, spacious kitchen, woodstove for cold nights, and all the touches of a well-loved home. Ric was quick to respond, but I really didn't need anything. I was there at the end of September, but with the Truckee River in the back yard, the nearby meadow, and all of the trails it was easy to see how this place could be a summer idyll. Next time I will have to being friends!

Beautiful location and cozy cabin in the snow! The snowmobile adventure in and out was fun and we enjoyed cozy nights by the fire and all the board games and puzzles at the cabin. Thank you Stefani!

I cannot say enough good things about my host and the property. Seth went truly above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable and welcome stay. The backyard was beautiful and the place was cozy. We felt very taken care of. I would 100% book this cabin again next time I’m in Tahoe. Truly best hosting experience I’ve ever had in an Airbnb.

What a great cabin!! We loved our stay at Jon's place. The cabin was spacious and very cozy. Our dogs loved running around in the yard. The cabin had everything we needed and it was very clean. it was wonderful seeing the river from the bedroom and being close to many restaurants, hikes, and grocery stores. we would definitely stay again. thank you!

It’s great that there was plenty of space for my children to play, and the snow must have added an extra element of fun. Having a clean place with essential amenities, along with a convenient location near the lake and restaurants, makes for a perfect family getaway. Plus, a responsive and friendly hostess can really enhance the experience. Keep in mind it is a older house, so there are little details here and there. But nothing that won't make me not return. Found my get away cottage for Lake Tahoe.

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin in Tahoe! The location is incredibly convenient, just about a 20-minute drive to both Heavenly and Sierra Ski Resorts, making it perfect for our winter getaway. After a day on the slopes, we loved returning to a cozy, well-equipped cabin. The host was amazing—very responsive, always replying to our messages within just a few minutes, and incredibly flexible with any needs we had. It was clear she cares about her guests' comfort and experience. The cabin itself had everything we could ask for. The jacuzzi was spotless and perfect for unwinding after a long day. We also appreciated the gated areas for our dogs to roam safely, which was a huge plus. The pool, open in the summer months, would be fantastic for warmer visits, too. The kitchen was well-stocked, with plenty of supplies that were easy to find, thanks to the clear labels. It made cooking meals a breeze. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would stay here again!

Beautiful setting. Cozy cabin. Loved sitting outside on the decks, especially next to the propane fire place. Enjoyed preparing meals in the open kitchen with family & friends. Wood stove works great! Comfortable beds. I needed a quiet place in nature to relax & reset. This was it! Great access to Hope Valley & the Carson Pass area. It’s wonderful to just walk over to Sorenson’s cafe for a bite. Nancy was wonderful to work with & always timely in her responses. I highly recommend her lovely home & plan to return again!!

Fantastic place to stay. Just down the road is access to a lovely hiking trail. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The house was clean and cozy. Orion was a remarkable communicator.

Danny is a wonderful, responsive and caring host. You can tell he takes pride in his property to provide a super clean, comfortable and dog friendly option. I'm often disappointed by how dirty dog friendly airbnbs are - so I am over the moon to find this gem of a spot. While it says "not kid friendly" (and there are counter seats which are tough for babies), we found the clutter-free, super clean home to be more friendly for our 5 and 2 year old than most baby-friendly places. You do have to bring a pack and play and/or high chair for your kid if you'd like those items, but the kids just around the coffee table for breakfast. I wish I could hire Danny's housekeeper - the place is spotless - no dust, no dog hair floating around. It's a rustic looking home with clean modern furnishings. The kids and dog enjoyed the beautiful enclosed backyard. The quaint and quiet of the neighborhood was nice, but the property is a quick drive to Sierra Tahoe resort making it so convenient. We loved staying at Molly’s place. The hosts were responsive and, even though checking in and out was a bit challenging, they tried their best to be helpful in the process. They also allowed us to check out later than the scheduled time, which was very beneficial for us. The only criticism I have is in regards to Don Hicks, which was the person that helped us transport our luggage to the cabin when we arrived. Initially, he was very nice; however, due to the snow storm, we had difficulty locating the loading zone especially this being our first time in weather like this. He grew frustrated and unnecessarily referred to our friends with the R-slur. We understand his frustration, but this attitude had us discouraged. We understand that this is outside of the host’s control which is why I think they deserve 5 stars, but I would recommend them to provide someone else to help transport. Again, very beautiful cabin and location with great hosts.

Place worked great for what we needed, a place to stay while visiting Kirkwood. Paths are quite slippery the morning after a rainstorm though, be careful!
