Stray Chalet: 2-bedroom home on a quiet street

The Stray Chalet boasts a relaxing, clean and open space with no steps. It is a peaceful home in a quiet neighborhood . Relax in comfort with everything you need in a home away from home. We try our best to be allergen free! The home is located 1 block from the quaint downtown and just steps away from Wabash Park and the Wabash Cannonball trailhead. West Unity is right along the Ohio Turnpike between exit 13 and 25. There are many adventures awaiting locally and even more within an hour's drive.

Benham Schoolhouse

Take a quiet vacation at this fully renovated historical schoolhouse built in the 1800's. It offers an open floorplan with a loft area where the four twin beds are located *can be made more private by closing the barn doors. There is two full bathrooms, a large kitchen area, living space, dining space, and an open area we can set up to be used for craft activities or other activities upon request. It also has a Halo air purification system, stopping virus particles to travel through the HVAC.

Frank Lloyd Wright's The Meyer House

Seize this opportunity to stay in a Frank Lloyd Wright treasure! Mahogany accents have been meticulously restored, and the gardens are in full bloom throughout the season. Awarded the Seth Peterson Cottage Conservancy's 2019 Visser Award for Outstanding Restoration of a FLW House and the 2021 Wright Spirit Award in the private category. Once your reservation is confirmed you will need to provide your email in order to receive the house manual and contact information for the house manager.

Golfing, restaurants, shopping, and walking/ biking trails nearby. Pontoon/Kayak rentals available.

Lake Berry hideaway

This is a Lake house on Berry Lake. Enjoy the lake sitting on the porch enjoy your drink of choice while watching the ducks and swans swim across the lake. Bring your fishing poles and fish from the dock. You can launch your canoe or kayaks from the community beach area just a short distance from the house. We are close to Hillsdale College, antique shops, other lakes, and Amish stores. Our home is fully stocked with bedding, towels, laundry supplies, kitchen supplies, as well as internet.

Need a quiet, secluded getaway? Our off-grid cabin is on approximately 10 acres of private woods. As you turn off the main road into our cabin's driveway, you will begin to understand why this is our hidden gem. Enjoy the coziness of a wood-stove in the winter or a crackling fire in seclusion in the summer- this little getaway cabin is sure to create fond memories. Maybe you will hear the horned owl at night or see an eagle while you kayak. Your adventure or a peaceful vacation awaits.

This two bed two bath home is very new and fresh with brand new high-end furniture. From the 65” TV to the gas fire pit on the patio overlooking the small creek and woods you won’t feel more relaxed. We are five short blocks from Trine University and a short drive to the center of town and one of our 101 lakes. Relax with the whole family at our charming cottage. We are located on a private road with a wide-open view of Coldwater Lake, just walk down the stairway and you are there. You may dock your boat at our dock, or there are marinas on the lake who rent boats. Coldwater is the largest lake of 6 on the 17-mile chain of lakes. You can boat, walk, bike, or drive to restaurants and ice cream. Pet fee $150 per dog, by approval.
