It is centrally located approximately 20 minutes to all nearby cities; San Francisco Berkeley, Walnut Creek, Hayward and the Oakland Airport (during non-commute hours)

Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck while listening to the birds and the bubbling creek below, or a glass of wine or tea while the sun sets and the owls begin to hoot. This is your hopping off point to visit the Bay Area; you can be in SF in 20 minutes or in wine country in less than an hour.

Fully-equipped studio apartment in Alameda victorian home. Spacious, with modern amenities (WiFi, Netflix), free coffee and tea, queen-size bed, and big yard, shared with the main house. Separate entrance through the backyard. Young kids live in the upstairs house part-time (see “other notes”) and can be loud until 9:30pm. We’re a dog-friendly space and love hosting pups (maximum of 2, house trained)! Please note that we’re not able to accommodate cats at this time. Lab lives in property.

A laundry is provided for guest use only. Hikes into the canyon below or neighborhood above are a special treat.

There’s a flatscreen TV , wifi, and a shared garden patio right outside the door.

All self-contained with in-unit mini-fridge, coffee machine, microwave and TV with Roku for streaming (no cable TV). standing desk serves as your "office" and a couple small sitting chairs to lounge about or read a book.

Modern In-law suite close to shopping, restaurants short walk to the beach. Local transportation and minutes to the Oakland Airport.. I live upstairs, I’m available via text. Please let me know if there’s anything I can do to make your stay exceptional. Because I occupy the top two floors of the house, it’s a possibility that you may hear “life” happening upstairs from the suite. No children just a big fluffy dog that behaves like a cat. It’s a fairly quiet house.
