The boat ride from one side of the canal to the other, no more than a 20-30 second ride across the canal.***** This Modern getaway is located In Manchac, LA and is very close to some very popular spots local spots. The main one is the Famous Sun Buns Bar and Grill that is located right next door. You can literally walk out the camps front door and walk there since the dock is attached to Sun Buns.

This 3-bedroom, 2-bath home sits directly on the Tickfaw River with stunning water views through wide open windows and French doors leading out to a very spacious deck - beautiful scenery - perfect for relaxing and enjoying the river and quiet peaceful surroundings. The interior of the house is very bright and cheery, while being cozy and comfortable. Very spacious kitchen, living and dining area - great for family gatherings.

The historic building was the original Church of Manchac and was remodeled into a home. Located within walking distance to the famous Middendorf's Restaurant! Also nearby is the public boat launch, Sun Buns river bar boat taxi, and other local favorite spots! Located about 40 miles outside of New Orleans.
