There's a stream running alongside with views of the rugged hillside to the right and the beach just across the road to the left. Views from the front of the cottage include the An Teallach mountain range. This cottage's location makes it the perfect base for a whole host of Highland activities from gentle relaxing walks and sea or fly fishing to outdoor pursuits like mountain biking and kayaking adventures!

Carbost village 1km with local shop, post office, cafes, pub & the famous Talisker Distillery. 5 min drive to Fairy pools, Talisker & Glenbrittle beaches and the magnificent Cuillins

Foulis Castle Gate Lodge

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

Attractive, 1 bedroomed (double or twin), comfy, semi detached, self catering cottage for 2 in the peaceful rural crofting township of Melvaig, 9 miles NW of Gairloch with seaviews to Skye and the Western Isles and just off the NC500. The property is for a minimum of 3 nights. This is a perfect base for relaxing. It's a few minutes to the shore and 30 mins walk along to peaceful beaches. There's a jetty nearby which you can drive down to safely and you can take your own kayaks there too.

You will be very welcome at our ' wee house', situated in Polglass, Achiltibuie, at Tigh Uisdean Bed and Breakfast. We are situated on the beautiful Coigach peninsula in Wester Ross. The cottage is light and airy with stunning, panoramic views over the Summer Isles. Downstairs, there is an open plan sitting room/ small kitchen area,utility room, bathroom with shower, bedrooms up a 'paddle' staircase. (check photo for suitability). Can accommodate 2 couples, more spacious for 2 people.
